Here's a big update for those of you who have been following and waiting for news and updates on the latest film version of Jane Austen 's Pride and Prejudice... Bonnie Mae , who wrote the screenplay , produced , and directed the new independent film , A Modern Pride and Prejudice starring  Maia Petee and Caleb Grusing has not only sent me more production stills , promo posters , on set and behind the scenes photos of her cast and crew, but she also sent me a youtube link to...wait for it...the trailer!!! Yes, you read it right...the first trailer to her P&P movie and you get to see it here (before anywhere else) first! Also, the film is now completed and it's coming to DVD very soon! Here's my new interview with my friend writer/producer / director Bonnie Mae , who wrote the screenplay, produced, and directed the new independent film, Pride and Prejudice ( A modern day tale of First Impressions ) starring  Maia Petee and Caleb Grusing . It's still in post-production and editing process. So, I recently did a follow up interview with Bonnie (last time I interviewed her was last February, about 10 months ago, and just a few weeks after the official cast was annnounced here of P&P 2010 ) to give us an update on the status of her Pride and Prejudice movie (a new alternate title: " A Modern Pride and Prejudice "). I thought while we wait for the trailer, movie poster, and the completed film, I'd ask her the following questions about the movie. Also, I've included here a couple new update on her interview, new stills and on set/behind the scenes photos as well.

Although the new independent film, Pride and Prejudice (2010) is still currently on post-production and editing process, my friend Bonnie Mae , the writer/producer/director of this film has sent me some production stills and behind the scenes/on set/cast and crew wrap party photos and a sneak peek clip from the movie to whet our appetites while we wait for the trailer , movie poster , and the completed film. The teaser clip features Maia Petee ( Elizabeth Bennet ), Caleb Grusing ( Mr. Darcy ), Mark Mook ( Mr. Bingley ), and Christina LaFon ( Jane Bennet ) in what looks like a Netherfield Park scene where Lizzy and Jane were leaving from the Bingleys [rented] home after Jane [who rode her bike instead of a car] recovered from her illness. Filming wrapped last June 27th for Pride and Prejudice (2010) , the new modern, independent feature film (starring Maia Petee and Caleb Grusing ) that my wonderful friend director   Bonnie Mae (wrote/produced/directed and) was filming every weekend since May ( 8th ). According to Bonnie , they will be filming about 8 more (make up) scenes before it goes to the editing room for post-production. Check out a 15 seconds teaser clip (from " the first proposal " scene), which was posted on DP Joan Lawson's facebook page .  Updates on the status of the film, more clips and possibly a trailer will be coming soon! Filming for the upcoming independent feature film, Pride and Prejudice (2010) , a modern day tale of first impressions started earlier this month ( May 8th ) in Colorado Springs, Colorado (USA). Director Bonnie Mae has been keeping me updated on the filming status of this film and as usual, she was awesome enough to have sent me the following BTS and on set photos and had given me permission to post them here as well. You've previously seen director Bonnie Mae 's Darcy & Elizabeth candid photoshoots and Cast Reading photos . Now, here are a sneak peek of a few (of the many) HQ photo shoots that the Pride and Prejudice (2010) Cast did during their first cast meeting (and table reading ) last March 6th . These photos are not official promotional photos for P&P film just yet, the actual ones will be taken when they start filming their movie in June. Here's a  big update on the P&P Location photos (as more photos are now added here. Here's a new update for the new modern Pride and Prejudice (2010) adaptation starring Maia Petee (as Elizabeth Bennet ) and Caleb Grusing (as Mr. Darcy ) I've been posting here since the last 2 weeks or so. You read all of them here first! Special thanks to Bonnie Mae (as always) for sending all the info she sent here for this film. I now have the title , synopsis , and tagline for this movie as well as the actor cast for Mr. Bingley and some houses/mansions that will be used for the movie for the Lion and the Rose ( Bed and Breakfast ) and Lady Catherine's mansion ( interior and exterior ). No Mr. Darcy castle/mansion or Bennets house photos yet , but I'll post them as soon as they are available to post here. Up first, is the announcement of the actor who is cast and will be playing Charles Bingley . Last Saturday, there was an audition/callback for Bingley and Bonnie had a difficult time deciding between the last two actors that were her top...

Before we get to my interview with Bonnie ... Believe it or not, I got to know Bonnie late last year through Keira Knightley herself. YES , Keira herself followed this P&P Blog's twitter page sometime early last year. I couldn't believe it, at first. Keira Knightley on Twitter?!? I've read interviews of her saying she's not into computers or internet ... so I wasn't really sure if it was her ... but then, who knows, right? Lots of celebs are joining twitter nowadays. So, she might have changed her mind. I stayed in touch with "her" and one day she told me about a friend of hers whose an independent filmmaker...

Ok, ladies, be prepared to drool or swoon if you like (with a bucket in hand while you stare at Caleb 's photos and read his very interesting...and funny interview at your own risk)...LOL! J/K! I had the honor and pleasure of interviewing the next Mr. Darcy (the actor who will be playing him), Caleb Grusing . Caleb Grusing will be co-starring with Maia Petee ( Elizabeth Bennet ) in the upcoming modern adaptation of Pride and Prejudice from writer/producer/director Bonnie Mae 's independent production company PaperCut Productions LLC , which will begin filming in June in Woodland Park (and Colorado Springs area) in Colorado .
