Here's a big update for those of you who have been following and waiting for news and updates on the latest film version of Jane Austen 's Pride and Prejudice... Bonnie Mae , who wrote the screenplay , produced , and directed the new independent film , A Modern Pride and Prejudice starring  Maia Petee and Caleb Grusing has not only sent me more production stills , promo posters , on set and behind the scenes photos of her cast and crew, but she also sent me a youtube link to...wait for it...the trailer!!! Yes, you read it right...the first trailer to her P&P movie and you get to see it here (before anywhere else) first! Also, the film is now completed and it's coming to DVD very soon! Here's my new interview with my friend writer/producer / director Bonnie Mae , who wrote the screenplay, produced, and directed the new independent film, Pride and Prejudice ( A modern day tale of First Impressions ) starring  Maia Petee and Caleb Grusing . It's still in post-production and editing process. So, I recently did a follow up interview with Bonnie (last time I interviewed her was last February, about 10 months ago, and just a few weeks after the official cast was annnounced here of P&P 2010 ) to give us an update on the status of her Pride and Prejudice movie (a new alternate title: " A Modern Pride and Prejudice "). I thought while we wait for the trailer, movie poster, and the completed film, I'd ask her the following questions about the movie. Also, I've included here a couple new update on her interview, new stills and on set/behind the scenes photos as well.

Although the new independent film, Pride and Prejudice (2010) is still currently on post-production and editing process, my friend Bonnie Mae , the writer/producer/director of this film has sent me some production stills and behind the scenes/on set/cast and crew wrap party photos and a sneak peek clip from the movie to whet our appetites while we wait for the trailer , movie poster , and the completed film. The teaser clip features Maia Petee ( Elizabeth Bennet ), Caleb Grusing ( Mr. Darcy ), Mark Mook ( Mr. Bingley ), and Christina LaFon ( Jane Bennet ) in what looks like a Netherfield Park scene where Lizzy and Jane were leaving from the Bingleys [rented] home after Jane [who rode her bike instead of a car] recovered from her illness. Filming wrapped last June 27th for Pride and Prejudice (2010) , the new modern, independent feature film (starring Maia Petee and Caleb Grusing ) that my wonderful friend director   Bonnie Mae (wrote/produced/directed and) was filming every weekend since May ( 8th ). According to Bonnie , they will be filming about 8 more (make up) scenes before it goes to the editing room for post-production. Check out a 15 seconds teaser clip (from " the first proposal " scene), which was posted on DP Joan Lawson's facebook page .  Updates on the status of the film, more clips and possibly a trailer will be coming soon! New  Jane Austen adapted or inspired of films for 2010 and 2011 . From a modern Pride and Prejudice to a Bollywood take on Emma ( Aisha ) to a Latina spin of Sense and Sensibility ( From Prada to Nada ). Plus a film version of ITV 's 2008 Lost In Austen (still in development, according to IMDB) to a zombie parody of Pride and Prejudice ( Pride and Prejudice and Zombies ). Looks like there's something for everyone from an often Jane-Austen-novel-adapted-or-inspired-of-films to check out or look forward to soon (starting in August). Here's a list of some JA related films currently filming, in post-production, and or still in-development for a possible release of 2010 and 2011. 

Filming for the upcoming independent feature film, Pride and Prejudice (2010) , a modern day tale of first impressions started earlier this month ( May 8th ) in Colorado Springs, Colorado (USA). Director Bonnie Mae has been keeping me updated on the filming status of this film and as usual, she was awesome enough to have sent me the following BTS and on set photos and had given me permission to post them here as well. As previously posted here , Maia Petee ( Elizabeth Bennet ) and  Caleb Grusing ( Mr. Darcy ) did a new photo shoot together last April 9th for an official promo pictures for their upcoming modern adaptation of Jane Austen 's Pride and Prejudice (2010) . Filming of this independent film commence next month and throughout the month of June in Colorado. Here's a rundown of some info. ( special thanks to director Bonnie Mae for all the info.) I've compiled on the current status of the upcoming Pride and Prejudice (2010) film... Currently in pre-production in preparation of filming , which begins in late May (for alternate scenes) and early June (movie) 2010 .  Caleb Grusing and Maia Petee (photo by Alex Forsett) will be doing their official promotional photo shoots today , Friday ( April 9th ) in Colorado Springs, Colorado ! Here are my mini-interviews of the 4 young and newcomer actresses who will be playing the next modern Bennet sisters in the upcoming modern adaptation of Jane Austen 's Pride and Prejudice (2010) . The girls were amazing enough to let me do a lil' Q&As/interviews with them as well as them sending and providing me new photos of themselves here.
