Last October (12th) 2016, UK fans got to see the fifth and final season premiere of Ripper Street   starring  Matthew Macfadyen  (as  Detective Inspector Edmund Reid ) on Amazon Prime Video . Early next month, the North American fans of RS will finally get to bid farewell and see the fifth and final season of the series on BBC America!
