Oscar Nominee   Rosamund Pike   attended the  Women In Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party presented by MaxMara , BMW , Tiffany & Co ., MAC Cosmetics and Perrier-Jouet at Hyde Sunset Kitchen + Cocktails  Friday,  February 20, 2015 in Los Angeles, California. Best of luck to Rosamund on tomorrow's Oscars ! Though seeing as these award shows are always unfair (and always has been for years, especially with deserving nominees overlooked over less deserving ones winning most of the time), it's not surprising anymore.  Ros hasn't won any big awards on recent televised award shows for her outstanding performance as Amy Dunne in the box-office mega-hit Gone Girl . I'm not hoping nor expecting her to win anymore (but it would be a lovely surprise, and an upset if she ever does, which is unlikely...but who knows, right?). Matthew Macfadyen   in California?! Yes, he is and he's looking dapper and very handsome too in a black dark blue and white suit without a tie! He made a rare (and unexpected)  pre-Oscar party appearance in Hollywood as he attended the GREAT British film reception honoring the British nominees of the 87th Annual Academy Awards at The London West Hollywood, yesterday ( February 20, 2015 ) in West Hollywood, California. Speaking of Matthew at a pre-Oscar party, I wonder if he bumped into his former Pride & Prejudice co-stars Keira Knightley and Rosamund Pike , both Oscar Nominees ( Knightley for Supporting Actress in The Imitation Game and Pike for Leading Actress in Gone Girl ) on this one (no pics yet of either Ros and Keira at this same event...though RP 's been at a couple other Pre-Oscar parties, which I'll post her new pics here later...) or if he'll attend other pre-Oscar parties or after parties and bump into them this Oscar weekend.
