Another wonderful P&P fan story from Maia (from Hungary ), who kindly and previously shared here, her Keira Knightley Signed Autograph Photo! and Rosamund Pike Autographed Photos last year. This time she wrote a fan mail to the lovely Carey Mulligan , which she got a reply just recently. Here's another wonderful P&P fan encounter from an ardent Pride & Prejudice/ Matthew Macfadyen fan, Silvia Basile . She kindly shared here in this blog, her thrilling and exciting experience of meeting Matthew at the Roma Fiction Fest 2012 with a story of how she met him. She included a video of MM from the event and a few pictures of hers, including an autograph photo of her P&P DVD copy that MM had personally signed for her. Last July 2012 , I wrote the lovely and beautiful  Rosamund Pike   (my favorite Jane Bennet )   a fan letter , which was several months after I wrote Matthew Macfadyen   and sent him a fan mail (and just a few months before I received a A Lovely Surprise from Mr. Macfadyen on my mailbox! ). I had once thought of writing a letter to her, but didn't expect to actually be writing her. My wonderful friend and fellow P&P/RP fan,  Maia (thanks a lot), who first wrote her a fan letter before I did had shared Miss Pike 's fan mail address with me and she got a response from her (See Maia's Rosamund Pike Autographed Photos ). I thought I'd try my luck of writing her too as I've been a fan of Rosamund Pike since Pride & Prejudice (2005) film. Since then, I've seen most of Rosamund 's TV and film work. Who knew over a year later, I would hear back from today's birthday celebrant ! Yes, I'm talking about the handsome and very talented (one of my favorite actors) Matthew Macfadyen himself, especially when I least expected it! I just received a (surprise) reply from Matthew (on the eve of his birthday, of all days...) yesterday, late afternoon when I checked my mailbox! OMG! I can't believe I got a reply from Matthew!!! I had an Elizabeth Bennet stunned moment when I saw the familiar envelope (RSE) while opening my mailbox, lol...It was like getting an unexpected Darcy's Letter! Or in this case, Mr. Macfadyen's letter ...well, not exactly a letter, but a reply from him nonetheless...!
