Today ( January 27th ) is the lovely and ethereally beautiful, Golden Globe , BAFTA , and Academy Award nominee for Best Actress (for her outstanding performance as Amy Dunne in Gone Girl )  Rosamund Pike  (aka Pride & Prejudice 2005 's very own Jane Bennet )'s 41st Birthday !  Born  Rosamund Mary Elizabeth Pike  in (Hammersmith) London, England, UK.  Miss Pike  is  an only child , her  parents  are  Julian  and  Caroline Pike . Movie Casting News: Keira Knightley to star in a Christmas film 'Silent Night'

According to Deadline, Keira Knightley is attached to star in a new British Christmas film titled Silent Night with 12-year-old Golden Globe Nominee Roman Griffin Davis ( JoJo Rabbit ), Matthew Goode ( Downton Abbey , Official Secrets ), and Annabelle Wallis ( Peaky Blinders ). Filming is said to be underway next month, February 17th. When Deadline first reported this earlier today ... Casting is underway for the role of Knightley’s husband in the film . The couple’s screen son will be played by Jojo Rabbit child star Roman Griffin Davis. The project will mark the feature directorial debut of Camille Griffin (Griffin Davis’s mother) who has also scripted. Side Note: When I first read casting news this afternoon, I was hoping the casting gods would cast Matthew Macfadyen for the role of Keira 's husband in this film (as I thought it would be another great reunion for Keira & Matthew since it's been a long time since they last co-starred in Pride & Preju

Quiz starring Matthew Macfadyen to premiere in May 2020 on AMC

During the Television Critics Association (TCA) winter press tour presentation, AMC Networks announced various premiere dates for new and returning shows and shared new images for highly anticipated titles including  Quiz starring Matthew Macfadyen ( Succession ) and Fleabag 's Sian Clifford . Quiz is set to premiere  Monday, May 25 at 9/8c  and air for three consecutive nights through May 27th in the same timeslot. The limited series (three-part TV Adaptation) depicts the true story about Charles and Diana Ingram (Macfadyen & Clifford) who attempted to scam the game show  Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? in their native England. On TV Tonight: Watch PBS Masterpiece's premieres of 'Howards End' starring Matthew Macfadyen and Jane Austen's 'Sanditon'

PBS Masterpiece is premiering a double header tonight of two period dramas that will air back to back starting at 8 pm and I thought I'd post both in the same post here. The first TV Miniseries that will be airing at 8/7c will be Matthew Macfadyen and Hayley Atwell 's 4-part Limited Series , Howards End , which first premiered in UK's BBC One on November 12, 2017 and the following year on April 8, 2018 on Star in the U.S. Since I didn't have Starz channel (it's a paid premium cable channel), I didn't get to see it on TV when it premiered back in 2018. I saw it somewhere online though, but it's been a while. So, I'm so glad PBS Masterpiece is premiering this drama tonight (and airing all 4 episodes)! 2019 has been an interesting and quite slow at times, but still a very good year (overall) for this  P&P '05 Blog and it's all because of  YOU .  Thank YOU all so much  for  visiting ,  reading , and  commenting here. Unlike  last year, we’re I had posted slightly more...this year, I posted even less here, since I got even more super busy. No worries, this year I’ll try to post more and keep updating, and keeping this  Blog  and  P&P movie  alive.  Hope to continue and keep going for many more years to come (or for as long as I can).
