Our P&P (2005) movie's 10th Year Anniversary event here today continues... It is a truth universally acknowledged that the most successful film adaptation (I'm talking about the film version released in Theaters/Cinemas not the TV Mini-series version) of Jane Austen 's Pride and Prejudice , Joe Wright 's 2005 Pride & Prejudice film (which was nominated for 4 Oscars including Best Actress for its lead star Keira Knightley ; 2 Golden Globe including Best Actress nomination for Knightley ; and 6 BAFTA nominations including The Carl Foreman Award for Special Achievement by a British Director ) has the best ensemble cast . The main cast of P&P movie are incredible and multi-talented. Our P&P (2005) movie's 10th Year Anniversary event here continues... I previously posted in retrospect about the Pride & Prejudice Dublin Premiere with director Joe Wright, Matthew Macfadyen, Rosamund Pike, and Jena Malone last Tuesday ( September 1st ). This year (last September 16th in the UK and last month of November 11th limited and 23rd expansion in US/Canada ), Joe Wright 's Pride & Prejudice (2005) film starring Keira Knightley & Matthew Macfadyen had its 9th year anniversary . Okay, I'm late (but better late than never, right?) on this, but I thought I'd still post here about 9 reasons why this film adaptation of Jane Austen 's classic Pride and Prejudice novel remains my all-time favorite movie to watch (over and over) for nearly a decade now and I still love watching it more and more. Four years ago today ( May 29th ), I started this blog as just an archived for P&P movie news and articles ...and now 4 years later , this blog has expanded to a much bigger and frequently updated blog with all things Pride & Prejudice (esp. the 2005 film and its actors / cast and their film projects ' news and more) and Jane Austen related news/articles / movies (ie.
