I previously posted last March about a  Pride & Prejudice  (2005) -  20th Anniversary Cinema Re-Release screenings at Chatsworth House (aka Pemberley , Mr. Darcy 's estate in P&P movie ) this month of June ( 13 & 14 ) and the two screenings for P&P movie were both SOLD OUT !  Also, Chatsworth is celebrating Jane Austen's 250th Birthday  with Regency themed entertainment including a  Pride & Prejudice screenings   in celebration of the film's 20th anniversary and Chatsworth House being immortalized as Pemberley in the film  and a Summer Pride & Prejudice Ball .  Read more info. about the following Austen 250 events at Chatsworth  and more P&P 20th Anniversary Cinema Screenings in the UK below...

Last March, BBC News reported that Chatsworth House £32m restoration unveiled . Chatsworth House (one of the filming locations for Pride & Prejudice (2005) film and best known as Pemberley , Mr. Darcy 's grand estate in Derbyshire ) has reopened after its biggest restoration project in 200 years. The 10-year long programme, which cost about £32m ($41.6m), has seen "priceless" paintings restored, brickwork scrubbed and turrets rebuilt. Chatsworth , one of the filming locations for Pride & Prejudice (2005) film and best known as Pemberley , Mr. Darcy 's grand estate in Derbyshire started their A Georgian Summer: Celebrating 200 Years of Pride and Prejudice late last month (from July 27th through August 29th, 2013 ). My friend Maia , who just visited Chatsworth the last week of July got to tour not just the house and garden, but also a special P&P (2005) exhibition (as it was filmed there almost 9 years ago) celebrating 200 years of Jane Austen 's classic Pride and Prejudice novel. Maia shared her wonderful P&P exhibition photos below...

Another wonderful P&P fan story from Maia (from Hungary ), who kindly and previously shared here, her Keira Knightley Signed Autograph Photo! and Rosamund Pike Autographed Photos last year. This time she wrote a fan mail to the lovely Carey Mulligan , which she got a reply just recently. As I have posted on facebook here , I am going to spotlight Pride & Prejudice fans here on the blog this month in celebration of the Pride & Prejudice (2005) film's 7 years of its US theatrical release . A last post for 2010, as we're about to say goodbye to the past year, and ring in the New Year 2011 (the year of the rabbit!) in just seven hours (eastern time) from now. As I previously posted and blogged here in  part 1 , I shared some photos and my wonderful experience from my recent holiday and visit to the beautiful countryside of England ( Derbyshire , Yorkshire , and Lincolnshire ) and the lovely Scotland , UK . London, England ; Paris, France , and Rome, Italy to name a few European countries ), but didn't know when or if it will ever happen anytime soon.
