Focus Features and Decca Records has just released a new variant of  Pride & Prejudice 's Soundtrack on Vinyl . The Pride & Prejudice Vinyl Picture Disc Edition is out now featuring the full Dario Marianelli soundtrack beautifully adorn with iconic scenes from the film. You can pre-order here , which will ship on November 14, 2025 .

On this day,  September 19th,  (exactly  20 years  ago today), Decca Records released in the UK the  original music and soundtrack  from  Joe Wright 's  Pride & Prejudice  (2005) film starring  Keira Knightley  and  Matthew Macfadyen . The original music from the soundtrack was composed by  Academy Award *  Winner   Dario Marianelli  (* Atonement ,  Anna Karenina ) and was performed on the piano by pianist  Jean-Yves Thibaudet  with  Th e English Chamber Orchestra . In  the US, the P&P  soundtrack  was released,  November 15, 2005  by Decca Records. My  P&P (2005) movie's 20th Year Anniversary  celebratory posts continues... I previously posted here about the  main cast  and  supporting cast  of  Pride & Prejudice  (2005) whose careers soared and have continued to be busy after their  P&P (2005) film . I thought I'd include the people or rather the key players  behind the scenes  who made this stunningly  beautiful movie  happen as without them, this film adaptation of Jane Austen's classic Pride and Prejudice (novel) wouldn't have been made. Also, some of them are incredibly talented and you may (or may not) have been surprised to have seen their familiar work in other well-known award-winning films. Plus, director  Joe Wright   not only love working with his actors from P&P in his other films, but he also loves working with the same production crew. A few overseas Vinyl record stores (Greece, Denmark, and Netherlands) has listed  Pride & Prejudice 's original motion picture soundtrack as a vinyl LP format (Reissue - Deluxe Edition) to be released  June 6, 2025 by Decca Records ! No news yet on when it'll be released in the U.S. and other countries. Hopefully, Focus Features and Decca Records will announced the official re-release date very soon. Pride & Prejudice  director  Joe Wright  is currently filming the Darkest Hour with Working Title Films and Focus Features releasing the first image of lead star Gary Oldman as Winston Churchill . (See movie still above ^). They also recently revealed the creative team behind this movie along with JW . Looks like a few of JW's most frequent collaborators starting from his very first feature film ( P&P ) are back working with him in this new film. Today ( September 16th ), Joe Wright 's Pride & Prejudice (2005) film's (starring Keira Knightley & Matthew Macfadyen ) 10th year anniversary . Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice 200 celebration continues... There's something magical about this Pride & Prejudice (2005) film that no matter how many times we've seen it...in 8 years since its wide release ( November 23, 2005 ) here in the U.S...it just never gets old (at least for me, it never did). There's always something new to discover in every viewing  that you failed to noticed in your previous ones. I know I must have seen this film probably about a  million times now or so (since 2005) and whenever I watch this movie, I'm always immersed by Elizabeth &  Darcy's classic love story (or rather  always distracted by the sight of a certain gentleman, whom we love and admire  most ardently <3 ). ;-)  So, there's always scenes that I may have missed and I'm always amazed at discovering them for the first time like I've never seen them before.
