Pride & Prejudice's Soundtrack is now officially RIAA Gold certified ahead of its long-awaited vinyl release in June!

Just after Focus Features and Decca Records announced its long-awaited vinyl release for June 27, 2025, RIAA Gold and Platinum awards posted on their social media (IG and X/Twitter) a congratulatory message (and image above ^) to P&P OST's composer Dario Marianelli and pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet for their P&P soundtrack album's Gold record certification!

Reposting here parts of Focus' press release from yesterday mentioning its Gold certification...

The PRIDE & PREJUDICE film soundtrack has officially reached RIAA GOLD® Certification.

Speaking on the continued success of the soundtrack, Dario Marianelli says: “Pride & Prejudice remains one of my happiest collaborations—and my first with Joe Wright. Some of the music was written even before filming began, inspired by a vibrant screenplay and, of course, by Austen’s timeless novel. It was brought to life by Jean-Yves Thibaudet and the English Chamber Orchestra over a few unforgettable days at Air Lyndhurst, my favourite studio in the world. I’m truly grateful to Decca for reissuing a work I still hold close.”

Jean-Yves Thibaudet adds: “Dario Marianelli is an extraordinary composer, and his work on Pride & Prejudice is absolutely phenomenal. This score has opened so many doors, not just for me, but for fans around the world. I can’t tell you how many times someone who has never attended a classical music concert before has told me, after a performance, that they came because they recognized my name from Pride & Prejudice! That this film, and this music, brings people so much joy twenty years later is cause for celebration. I couldn’t be happier to be a part of this!"
