According to Yahoo UK & Ireland TV News , Matthew Macfadyen has joined the all star cast of Miss Marple as Inspector Neele . The new Miss Marple will not be the most famous face on screen when she makes her eagerly-awaited debut in the super-sleuth's tweeds and comfortable brogues. Julia McKenzie will be joined by a truly stellar cast as she debuts in her role as Britain's favourite spinster crimefighter. Matthew McFadyen ( Spooks, Pride & Prejudice ), Rupert Graves (The Forsyte Saga, Charles II: The Power & The Passion) and Helen Baxendale (Cold Feet, Friends) will flesh out the cast.
