Late on posting this...PBS Masterpiece recently announced on Jane Austen's 250th birthday ( December 16, 2025 ) that  Miss Austen  starring  Keeley Hawes  (aka  Matthew Macfadyen ’s real-life wife) as Miss  Cassandra Austen , (Jane’s older sister) returns for a second season ! It'll be based on Gill Hornby 's follow-up novel, " The Elopement ," which further delves into the family life of Jane and Cassandra Austen . Tonight the final  2  episodes (3 & 4) of   Miss Austen  starring  Keeley Hawes  (aka  Matthew Macfadyen ’s real-life wife) as Miss  Cassandra Austen , (Jane’s older sister) airs in the U.S. on MASTERPIECE on PBS at  9 pm et/8c .  In the UK, it aired on BBC iplayer and BBC last February 2, 2025!  The timing for this is great as  2025  also marks  250 years  since  Jane Austen  was born. The first UK trailer and movie posters has been released today for Keira Knightley ’s   upcoming new dramedy film,  Misbehaviour  based on the true events of the 1970 Miss World pageant in London. The film is slated for a March 13, 2020 UK Cinema release! Keira as Sally Alexander co-stars with  Gugu Mbatha-Raw  ( Belle , which she co-starred with P&P's  Penelope Wilton ), Keeley Hawes (aka Matthew Macfadyen ’s wife), Greg Kinear, Phyllis Logan (aka Mrs. Hughes in Downton Abbey ), Rhys Ifans, Lesley Manville, Suki Waterhouse (aka Kitty Bennet in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies ), Emma Corrin, and Jessie Buckley.
