Watch: Keira Knightley & Rosamund Pike Reunite 20 Years After 'Pride & Prejudice' in new Vanity Fair’s Reunited Series Interview!

Image
Finally, our beloved elder Bennet sisters ,  Elizabeth and Jane officially reunited !!  Keira Knightley , and  Rosamund Pike  were invited by Vanity Fair in their Reunited Series to reunite and do a one-on-one interview of each other after working together in Pride & Prejudice  (2005) film twenty years ago. They previously reunited in public (after so long, though it was mostly a rumor from the Toronto Film Festival where they were seen at an after-party years ago, but unfortunately no photos together) a few months ago, last March at their shared stylist Leith Clark's event. See my previous post here: Keira Knightley Reunite at Liberty Fete's 150th Anniversary Dinner!   This year, just when their P&P movie is turning 20 years old, that's when we finally got a big reunion between these two lovely and gorgeous Bennet sisters, who remained great friends (and I believe neighbors in London too as Keira mentioned during her GMA interview as she was int...

She’s a ninja.”  Sam Riley  ( Mr. Darcy ),  Jack Huston  ( Mr. Wickham ),  Douglas Booth  ( Mr. Bingley ),  Emma Greenwell  ( Caroline Bingley ), Lena Headey, Charles Dance,  and  Matt Smith  ( Mr. Collins ) also star. The Bennet Girls starring in Must-See Films of 2014

Image
Looks like we'll be seeing not just one or two, but perhaps all  five Bennet girls on either the small or mostly big screen this year of 2014 as all of them has at least one, a few, or more movies they starred/co-starred in, that are featured in various film sites with lists of most anticipated films of 2014 and are slated for mid to late 2014 release (with some already having official scheduled release dates in bold below...and others to be announced and awaiting theatrical releases. Release dates are subject to change though...).  The still  young  and very  talented actresses  ( Academy Award® and Golden Globe Nominee  Keira Knightley  28 ,  British Independent Film Award   winner  Rosamund Pike  35 ,  Young Artist Award Winner  Jena Malone  29 ,  Academy Award® Nominee  and  BAFTA winner   Carey Mulligan  28 ,  and  Talulah Riley  28 ) who played the  Benn...

Then & Now: Pride & Prejudice (2005)'s The Bennet Girls

Image
As aforementioned here in this blog, these young and very talented actresses ( Academy Award® Nominee Keira Knightley , British Independent Film Award winner Rosamund Pike , Young Artist Award Winner Jena Malone , Academy Award® Nominee and BAFTA winner Carey Mulligan , and Talulah Riley ) who played the Bennet sisters brilliantly and quite convincingly in the 2005 Oscar and Golden Globe nominated film, Pride & Prejudice were, in my opinion, all great together as sisters and an outstanding ensemble cast in their P&P 2005 film as well as individually , in their own other films before, during, or after they co-starred in P&P movie . This time I thought I'd update you all in what they're up to as these 5 P&P 05 Bennet actresses (with the exception of Keira Knightley and Jena Malone ) as unknowns before P&P movie (ie. Rosamund Pike , Carey Mulligan , and Talulah Riley ) and then, post-P&P movie each had started to get wide recogniti...

Photos: Jena Malone at 2010 GQ "Men of the Year" Party

Image
Jena Malone recently attended the 15th annual "GQ Men of the Year" party held at Chateau Marmont on November 17, 2010 in Los Angeles, California. Jena 's looking gorgeous in these very recent pics! Interesting she and her former Bennet sisters/P&P co-stars Keira Knightley , Carey Mulligan , and Talulah Riley all have short hair these days except for one other P&P co-star and eldest Bennet sister Rosamund Pike , who maintained her long blonde hairdo (though prior to P&P movie , she used to have a short hair like when she played Fanny Logan (<---click link to see a screen cap of RP ) character in Love In A Cold Climate miniseries). Anyway, check out new JM photos below... 2010 GQ "Men of the Year" Party (source: photos by Bauer Griffin | zimbio.com) 2010-11-17 20:46: GQ 2010 "Men Of The Year" Party - Arrivals .  (Photo by Frazer Harrison/Getty Images North America) Speaking of JM , she's featured in a music video...

Photos: Carey Mulligan and Rosamund Pike at 2010 Moët British Independent Film Awards

Image
Another Bennet Sisters Reunited! Two months ago, it was Keira Knightley and Carey Mulligan at LFF's Never Let Me Go Premiere . This time, it was former An Education and Pride & Prejudice co-stars Carey Mulligan and Rosamund Pike both were nominated and attended the  2010 Moët British Independent Film Awards ( BIFA ) held at Old Billingsgate Market on earlier tonight, December 5, 2010 in London, England. Unfortunately, Miss Knightley was not in attendance at the BIFA event this year. It would've been nice to see half of the Bennet girls reunited in photos, at least. Still, it was great to see Rosamund and Carey in picture together.

5 Best Scene Performances in other films by Pride & Prejudice's Bennet Sisters

Image
These young and very talented actresses ( Academy Award® Nominee Keira Knightley , British Independent Film Award winner Rosamund Pike , Young Artist Award Winner Jena Malone , Academy Award® Nominee and BAFTA winner Carey Mulligan , and Talulah Riley ) who played the Bennet sisters brilliantly and quite convincingly in the 2005 Oscar and Golden Globe nominated film, Pride & Prejudice were, in my opinion, all great together as sisters and an outstanding ensemble cast in P&P as well as individually , in their own other films before, during, or after they co-starred in P&P movie . It's no wonder they are all successful nowadays in their own individual film careers (after Pride & Prejudice ) and each have upcoming and new films (ie. Never Let Me Go , Wall Street: Money Never Sleep , Made In Dagenham , etc.) currently in theaters getting good reviews and doing so well. Here are the video clips and memorable quotes from their films that I think ...

Talulah Riley marries her long time fiancee Elon Musk

Image
Looks like Lydia Bennet isn't the first Bennet girl (of the 5 Bennet sisters ) to get hitched after all...or at least if we're talking about real life and not the movie , as the P&P 2005 young actresses who played the fictional Bennet sisters ( Rosamund Pike , Keira Knightley , Talulah Riley , Carey Mulligan , and Jena Malone ) in the 2005 film, Pride & Prejudice were famously known. Talulah Riley (best known to P&P movie fans as Mary Bennet , the middle Bennet sister . Interesting Fact: Talulah is the youngest amongst her P&P co-stars who made up the Bennet sisters in the film), who just celebrated her 25th birthday over the weekend ( Sept. 26th! ) reportedly got married as well with her multi-millionaire fiancee , internet tycoon Elon Musk in a cathedral in Scotland . Congrats to Talulah Riley and her new marriage! Updated 11/7/10 Check out Talulah & Elon Wedding Photos!!    Here's an article about her wedding from the Scottish Da...

Picture Comparison: The Bennet Family (P&P '05 vs. P&P '95)

Image
The Bennet Family: Pride & Prejudice 2005 vs. Pride and Prejudice 1995 I've seen both the 2005 and 1995 versions of P&P . I know I may be biased here as obviously, this blog is mainly all about the 2005 version , but even if it isn't... I would still post my opinion and based on how I see them. You may or may not agree with me, but that's why we all have our own personal preferences , doesn't make you and I wrong on which versions we prefer. I happen to prefer the 2005 movie , doesn't mean the '95 one wasn't good. It has its own good moments (as well as bad and advantages and disadvantages as does the '05 ). There's no perfect version for P&P screen adaptation, as each have their own interpretations and each have its own flaws (including the '05 one), that's why there are many different versions we've seen over the years since 1936 (from Broadway to the big screen to the small screen). So, it's only na...
