Keira Knightley ( Pride & Prejudice 2005's own Elizabeth Bennet ) was at the Buckingham Palace this Thursday (December 13, 2018) as she received her OBE (Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire), which Prince Charles has presented to her for her services to drama and charity (after partnering with charities such as WaterAid and Oaxfam) alongside her parents (Sharman Macdonald & Will Knightley) and husband James Righton. Which of these Bennet girls ( P&P actresses Keira Knightley , Rosamund Pike , Jena Malone , Carey Mulligan , and Talulah Riley ) can sing in real-life? All of them! And no, they're not singing as the Bennet girls in the videos compiled here, but you know what? They can all sing and could most definitely form an indie girl group (or play one in a movie), if they ever choose to...someday...in the near future. The first one I've heard was Talulah Riley (though I have yet to hear her sing as herself not in character) as Mary Bennet singing briefly in a scene at Netherfield Ball in Pride & Prejudice movie. According to director Joe Wright , it was her "singing live in front of all those people" in that particular scene in P&P movie. Then, I heard Keira singing briefly in her The Edge of Love movie and last year's Begin Again (in which she sang 6 of the tracks from the soundtrack including the Oscar nominated song Lost Stars ). Next, it was Jena...

Did I just see Darcy 's little sister  Georgiana Darcy  featured in Belle and Sebastian 's latest  Nobody's Empire  music video? (Thanks to Sara on Devoted P&P FB fan page for the heads up!) Yes and No. Well, no as in not the character Georgiana Darcy per se...but yes, the actress,  Tamzin Merchant , who played her in Pride & Prejudice (2005) movie. She's also featured on the new album cover (see image above ^) of  Belle and Sebastian  (an indie pop band formed in Glasgow in January 1996. Led by Stuart Murdoch, they've released 9 albums), titled Girls In Peace Time Want To Dance , which is actually released today, from Matador Records. 2014 has been a really wonderful year for this  P&P '05 Blog  and it's all because of  YOU .  Thank YOU all so much  for  visiting ,  reading , and  commenting here and for making this year, a great year!  Like last year, I had a great time posting, updating, and keeping this  Blog  and  P&P movie  alive all year. Okay, I'm not going to stop blogging here as I've been blogging and maintaining this P&P Blog for over 7 years and it's been a lot a fun. I love and enjoy posting randomly here even if it's a lot of work and I spent countless hours on uploading photos and trailer screen captures, posting TV & Film news of my favorite P&P (2005) actors and director Joe Wright (as well as any P&P/Austen related news articles), editing and updating various sections and pages of this blog, and keeping my all-time favorite movie alive and maintaining this fan blog for my fellow devoted P&P fans for as long as I can. It sure is a lot of work, especially when I do it all, mostly by myself (and don't get paid doing it either, but I don't mind because I love P&P and this 2005 movie so much that it has become a personal hobby and passion of mine to keep this going for almost 8 years now. When people say things... #OMGICantEven Okay, I'm not trying to be a spelling or grammar detective here, but when I see/hear/read people (P&P/Austen fans or not...but most especially some...not all...P&P/Austen fans, who should know better. I can understand once and if you're not a fan, but to) say things about P&P/Austen adaptations without checking if they are right or often misspell either Jane Austen or Elizabeth Bennet 's last names, it just irks me and I can't help but SMH (shakes my head) and say, OMG , I can't even know what to say (or #hashtag #OMGICANTEVEN! for short, lol). I thought I'd post and rant a bit here about the following things below that I've been noticing on social media recently (which doesn't really bother me and I mostly ignore them, but here I thought I'd mention them, just because I need to vent a little about these on my blog, get it out of the way...and then, let it go! *just like Elsa did in Froze...
