Tonight the fifth and final season of BBC America's crime mini-series Ripper Street starring Matthew Macfadyen (as Detective Inspector Edmund Reid) continues with Episode 2 at 11/10c. Jerome Flynn, Adam Rothenberg, and MyAnna Buring also star.

New York – February 24, 2017 – BBC AMERICA’s critically-acclaimed co-production, Ripper Street, returns for a fifth and final season with six episodes on Wednesday, March 8 at 11/10c. The powerful closing chapter picks up mere days after the grisly death of Detective Inspector Bennet Drake (Jerome Flynn – Game of Thrones), which reunites his old friends, Detective Inspector Edmund Reid (Matthew Macfadyen – Anna Karenina), surgeon Captain Homer Jackson (Adam Rothenberg – The Divide) and ‘Long’ Susan Hart (MyAnna Buring – Downton Abbey), to bring his murderer to justice.
Last season introduced a new serial killer plaguing the streets of Whitechapel. Convinced that the murderer’s cannibalistic crimes were being covered up by another party, DI Reid and DI Drake’s investigation pointed to a trail of corruption that led them right to the heart of Scotland Yard – specifically Assistant Commissioner Augustus Dove (Killian Scott – Call the Midwife) and his bestial brother Nathaniel Dove (Jonas Armstrong – Line of Duty). During an attempt to bring down the Dove brothers, DI Drake lost his life to serial killer Nathanial, forcing DI Reid, CPT Jackson and ‘Long’ Susan on the on the run. Now, finding themselves on the other side of the law, revealing the truth about the unlawful siblings is not an easy task.
With a barbarous killer on the loose and a corrupt lawman leading the police force, DI Reid is unquestionably facing his toughest and most dangerous challenge yet. Or is it?!?! Miss Pike herself just posted on her official Instagram page that today is her internet birthday (and somewhat not her real birthday)! Well, color me surprised (much like her P&P co-star Rupert Friend’s birthday confusion...) as I’ve been celebrating her birthday on this day for years, lol. I blame her IMDB and Wiki pages for not providing her real birthdate, if her actual birthday is, in fact not today! Although there’s that one time it was listed on the 28th, but for years and even now it’s still listed as the 27th! Our P&P (2005) movie's 10th Year Anniversary event here continues... One of the many things I love about Pride & Prejudice ( 2005 ) movie is the memorable and quotable quotes (and dialogue ). I know pretty much every line/quote uttered by various characters in this movie by heart. There isn't just one to remember because there are so many unforgettable quotes and one-liners from this movie. For my Top 10 Favorite Pride & Prejudice Movie Quotes here, it was very hard to pick and just narrow it down to 10, but that's the point of making a top 10 list. I know I left out a lot, but I managed to pick 10 that I can quote instantly and love the most. Obviously, the top 2 are a fan favorite, but mine too. P&P Movie Script

I was looking through old threads over at IMDB a while back and I found a link to the P&P 2005 movie script ... from an awesome JA/P&P fanfiction related site called, Mrs. Darcy's Story Site . I've read the entire script from this site. It seemed accurate with deleted scenes included! (though there were spelling errors on some of the lines...just a lil' typo here and there)... Btw, the webmistress at Mrs. Darcy's site has added her comments to the script comparing this draft with what was actually released on film , which I thought was quite interesting (especially the deleted scenes from the movie ). It was a lot of fun to read. I thought I would keep the link and post it here (a lil' excerpt here) for those of you might be interested in reading this or have been looking for the P&P movie script/transcript online.
