Keira Knightley  &  Matthew Macfadyen  both attended this week's London Fashion Week 2026 . Unfortunately, not at the same LFW show as Keira attended Erdem’s fall 2026 collection show this past Sunday ( February 22, 2026 ) while Matthew attended Burberry’s Winter 2026 Show , Monday ( February 23, 2026 ). Still, it’s great to see them out and about at LFW this week.

According to Deadline ,  Matthew Macfadyen  has joined Rachel Weisz in Tomas Alfredson and Jack Thorne's " Seance On A Wet Afternoon " adaptation.  The film, which was scripted by Jack Thorne (Adolescence), is currently in production. Read more below (per Deadline )...

2025 may have been over and the main 20th anniversary milestone for  Joe Wright 's  Pride & Prejudice  (2005) film starring  Keira Knightley  and  Matthew Macfadyen  in the UK (England/Ireland/Scotland), North America (USA/Canada), and some other European countries (ie. Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Austria, Switzerland, and Finland), and a couple Asian countries/territories (Australia, Singapore), but many more international countries have later released the movie not in 2005 , but the following year of 2006 , so P&P’s 20th anniversary in other countries continues in 2026 (see IMDB's listing of P&P release dates by countries here ) starting in the month of January (2006) all the way to October (2006)!  So, yeah, looks like more P&P cinema screening events are still happening in 2026 . If a certain country missed it last year, it might be doing it this year for its actual 20th anniversary and theatrical release year!

Today ( October 17th ) is  Matthew Macfadyen 's  51st  birthday!  Matthew , best known to us  P&P Fans  as  Mr. Darcy  (forever) of the  2005  Pride & Prejudice  film , was born  David Matthew Macfadyen  in Great Yarmouth, Northfolk, England, UK in  1974  (51 years ago today!). Happy Birthday  Matthew Macfadyen!!! (Mr. Darcy!) Matthew Macfadyen  attended the Opening Night Party & Red Carpet during the Mipcom Cannes At Le Majestic on Sunday, October 13, 2025 in Cannes, France. He was also there for his new Peacock series " The Miniature Wife " photocall with co-stars Sian Clifford and O-T Fagbenle .  The Miniature Wife will air on Sky and Now in 2026. Focus Features and Decca Records has just released a new variant of  Pride & Prejudice 's Soundtrack on Vinyl . The Pride & Prejudice Vinyl Picture Disc Edition is out now featuring the full Dario Marianelli soundtrack beautifully adorn with iconic scenes from the film. You can pre-order here , which will ship on November 14, 2025 .

Two new stills  (via Matthew Macfadyen Daily on Instagram ) have been released, giving us the first look for the upcoming Peacock comedy-drama, The Miniature Wife starring  Matthew Macfadyen  and Elizabeth Banks . Sky has acquired the series ahead of MIPCOM. It will air on Sky and Now in 2026. Peacock will stream 10 (60 minutes) episodes in the U.S. in 2026. No premiere set date has been announced yet. Matthew will attend an exclusive screening and Q&A  presentation for the show at MIPCOM in Cannes next week, October 13, 2025. Marriage gets hilariously complicated in The Miniature Wife, when Elizabeth Banks (Pitch Perfect, The Hunger Games) is unexpectedly shrunk in a technological mishap, much to the surprise of her husband, played by Matthew Macfadyen (Succession).
