But now the film has been delayed (by Disney) with a new theatrical release date: May 15, 2020. It is said to be due to Disney's recent purchase of its distributor Fox 2000, as well as reported news of re-tooling it with re-shoots of 5 days will be done for this film (scheduled this month after Adams' finishes her other film she was currently filming) after test screenings revealed it confused audiences (Read more info. about it here via THR).
