Watch: Text Santa - 'Downton Abbey meets Vera' video featuring Penelope Wilton and Brenda Blethyn!
ITV has released a new Text Santa - Downton Abbey sneak peek sketch video featuring Penelope Wilton 's Isobel Crawley with Hugh Bonneville 's Lord Grantham searching for the right Father Christmas (aka Santa Claus) with Brenda Blethyn ' s Vera showing up for the audition and Brendan Coyle 's Mr. Bates popping up out of nowhere, lol...The P&P fan in me can't help thinking this was another awesome P&P/DA connection , Mrs. Bennet (P&P 2005) reunited with her sister-in-law Mrs. Gardiner ( P&P 2005 ) who was sitting next to a different Mr. Bennet ( Lost In Austen 's own Mr. B !). I'd love for Keira & Matthew to make a cameo as Elizabeth & Darcy as a P&P 10th Anniversary reunion special or homage for the P&P movie fans. If only this idea is possible...
