Hi Jeane , thanks again for hosting me during my Grand Tour of the blogosphere in celebration of the release of my new Austen-inspired anthology, Jane Austen Made Me Do It . The book premiered last week and I could not be more pleased by the reception it received during its launch party at the Sundance Square Barnes & Noble during the 2011 Jane Austen Society of North America’s conference in Ft. Worth, TX. Jane Austen ’s second published novel, Pride and Prejudice , is by far her most well-known and popular works. In fact, it continually pops into the top five “favorite books of all time” lists, and Mr. Darcy is equally acclaimed as the most romantic man in all fiction. There are hundreds of Mr. Darcy does “this and that” sequels and retellings in print, and many movie adaptations gracing the screen and television of our cherished P&P . Websites and blogs also herald its charms. Here I am at one of them today! With all this adoration and praise thrown at its f...

I am very excited and happy to announced the lucky winner of the P&P Blog DVD Giveaway ... But first, I'd like to say that there were so many entrants and I was amazed that so many of you entered and wanted to win this one (well, it's an awesome gift set, who wouldn't right?). It was interesting and fun to read all of your comments and to know that a few of you haven't even seen this amazing and beautiful film. Also, there were so many of you to pick from (esp. the ones who has never seen this film) and if I have a lot of extra copies I would pick more than one winner, but that was the only one new copy that I have left (besides my own copy, lol). This dvd gift set is so rare now and hard to find. So, yeah, sorry...I had to follow my own contest rules of picking just one lucky random winner for this awesome and a must-own P&P DVD gift set prize. Anyway, without further ado, and the WINNER is... Click here to view the lucky WINNER! CONGRATULATION...

Update: Winner to be announced June 4th @ 5 PM ET. So, keep checking this blog to see/read who the lucky winner is! This week, on Friday ( May 29th ), this blog turns 2 years old! Yes, 2 years already! Can you believe it? 'cause I can't believe it's been 2 years since I started this here lol. This lil' P&P blog started out as just an archive blog for P&P (2005) movie/actors' news/articles related stuff, which were mostly posted in the P&P '05 Forum (a P&P fan forum/fan community I've started/created and maintain to for over 3 years now...all because of my love for this movie version and the amazing actors who portrayed my favorite P&P characters brilliantly on this Oscar nominated film). Anyway, I thought I would do a lil' something nice and fun this week/end of the month for this special occasion and milestone for this blog (since I forgot to do one last year on its first year anniversary, lol)...starting with a free DVD giv...

I am very sad to say that the original winner never contacted me. It has been 5 days and per my rules I need to pick someone else. I am very sorry Dava! I do hope you purchase the novel as I loved your enthusiasm. I would still love to hear from you! So, the names were again placed into the basket and picked at random. The new winner is Terry Spear! Terry happens to be a good friend and fellow Sourcebooks author who has been searching high and low for my book but always discovering the shelves empty. It is a pleasure to be able to send her a copy. Terry writes romantic shapeshifting wolf stories, if that sounds interesting to anyone. They are very good. Here is her webpage: Terry Spear Again thanks to everyone who participated. It was tremendous fun! ****** I am so excited to be able to announce the winner of a signed copy of Mr. and Mrs. Fitzwilliam Darcy ~ Two Shall Become One .
