Last night, first time Tony Award nominee Carey Mulligan attended the 2015 Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall on June 7, 2015 in New York City. Unfortunately, Carey and co-stars Bill Nighy and Matthew Beard all lost their nominations for Best Performances by an Actress and Actor in Leading Roles and Best Performance in a Featured role respectively, but their play Skylight did win one Tony Award (out of 7 nominations ) for Best Revival Play . A  Golden Globe , BAFTA (including a Best Actress win for her in  An Education 2009   film), an  Oscar , and now we can add Tony Award nominee   Carey Mulligan   (who  knew our dear Kitty Bennet , the 4th Bennet daughter, whose first feature film debut was Joe Wright 's Pride & Prejudice  film would be a successful actress on screen and onstage and be a multi-acting award nominee a decade later?). This morning, the nominations for 2015 Tony Awards has been announced and Carey 's currently playing revival play Skylight , which was recently transferred to Broadway from the West End in London just scored a total of  7 nominations including Best Revival Play and Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play for Miss Mulligan . The nominations for the 2015 Olivier Awards has been announced earlier today at noon in London. Penelope Wilton   ( Downton Abbey , Pride & Prejudice ) and her play, Taken at Midnight scored 3 nominations including Best Actress for Penelope Wilton . Also,  Carey Mulligan 's revival play Skylight is nominated for Best Revival . The Olivier Awards will be held in London and handed out on April 12th .
