New Mom Carey Mulligan recently attended several public events since giving birth (reportedly sometime in September) to her first child, baby Evelyn Mumford (with her musician husband Marcus Mumford ...see a few photos of them below). This past week, she was at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' 7th annual Governors Awards at The Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center on November 14, 2015 in Hollywood, California. A few days before, she attended the BAFTA LA Behind Closed Doors at ArcLight Cinemas on November 11, 2015 in Hollywood, California. Also, Carey accepted the Hollywood Actress Award for her current film “Suffragette” during the 19th Annual Hollywood Film Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on November 1, 2015 in Beverly Hills, California. In limited release in theaters today is Focus Features ' Suffragette film starring Carey Mulligan , Meryl Streep , and  Helena Bonham Carter , lead the cast of the powerful drama about the fight for equality in early-20th-century Britain.  The film opens in US Theaters in limited release today, October 23rd (and hopefully, will expand in more screens soon after). Several new stills  had been released of Suffragette film starring Carey Mulligan , Meryl Streep , and  Helena Bonham Carter , in which they  lead the cast of the powerful drama about the fight for equality in early-20th-century Britain.  The film opens in US Theaters in limited release this Friday, October 23rd (and hopefully, will expand in more screens nationwide in the coming weeks as I'm looking forward to seeing this movie soon after its limited release). A new movie poster (see above) and promo video clip has been released Wednesday by Focus Features during Women's Equality Day (August 26th) for Suffragette starring Carey Mulligan , Meryl Streep , and  Helena Bonham Carter , lead the cast of the powerful drama about the fight for equality in early-20th-century Britain. Summer  2015  is over (for some and almost over for others)! You know what that means, right? New TV series/returning shows and movies to look forward to this late Summer and Fall from our favorite P&P (2005) actors! Continuing my annual list of some Pride & Prejudice (2005) alumni with a new movie and TV series or mini-series starting mid to late this month of August  through December  of 2015 (as well as a few upcoming films to see in 2016 !). Featured P&P (2005) actors : Keira Knightley , Matthew Macfadyen ,  Rosamund Pike ,  Carey Mulligan ,  Jena Malone ,  Kelly Reilly , Rupert Friend , Tamzin Merchant , Tom Hollander , Donald Sutherland ,   Judi Dench , and Penelope Wilton .  The following P&P '05 actors has new films (and returning TV series ) to be released this late Summer  and  Fall 2015 ...

Last April the UK teaser trailer for Suffragette starring Carey Mulligan , Meryl Streep , and  Helena Bonham Carter was released. Now, the first full-length trailer (wow, it looks amazing and Carey 's knocking it out of the park and that's just the trailer! She's definitely going to get another Oscar nod for this role! I can't wait to see her in this movie!) has just been released today along with the news this morning, according to Deadline , it will open the 59th BFI London Film Festival . The film will receive its European premiere on Wednesday , October 7 at the Odeon Leicester Square , attended by the filmmakers and cast with a live cinecast from the red carpet and simultaneous screenings taking place at cinemas across the UK.

Pathé has just set an October 30th UK Cinema release for Suffragette starring Carey Mulligan ,  Meryl Streep , and  Helena Bonham Carter with director by Sarah Gavron from a script written by Abi Morgan . Focus Features had previously dated Suffragette for a US theater release on October 23rd . Also, a first still and a couple on set/BTS photos of Carey  as Maud  (see them below!) were released via Suffragette's UK Facebook page . Focus Features (who distributed Joe Wright 's Pride & Prejudice , Atonement , and Anna Karenina films) has just acquired the North American distribution rights to Suffragette (starring Carey Mulligan , Meryl Streep , and Helena Bonham Carter ) directed by Sarah Gavron from a script written by Abi Morgan, for a Fall 2015 domestic release . Last April, I posted here the First Photo of Carey Mulligan on 'Suffragette' set in London . Today, the first first official still has been released (via Pathe International ) featuring Carey as Maud . The film is currently in post-production and also stars Helena Bonham-Carter , Brendan Gleeson , Anne Marie Duff , Ben Whishaw , Meryl Streep . Carey Mulligan  has been spotted today filming on set of one of her upcoming films, Suffragette via ET Online . Here's the caption via ET Online...
