Starting my  P&P (2005) movie's 20th Year Anniversary   celebratory posts... But first, let me just say that although the actual 20th anniversary for Pride & Prejudice (2005) film is not until later (September in the UK and November in the U.S.) this year of 2025, I am starting early and will be celebrating this movie throughout the year. In fact, Focus Features has already started with releasing an official 20th anniversary merchandise at the end of January. Then, they announced an Easter weekend re-release of P&P in theaters and more anniversary screening events have been added/scheduled for this month of May and June . Currently, it's still playing in U.S. Theaters for another extended week (May 1-8, 2025) . It's currently showing in the UK and also in Mexico, New Zealand, Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden. Focus is also hosting a Pride & Prejudice anniversary Ball in Pasadena, CA later this month (May 22, 2025), and releasing P&P's Original Sou...

Jena Malone  (aka Miss Lydia Bennet ) has spilled some tea about Pride & Prejudice (2005) ’s “no makeup” look on her TikTok account. Watch Jena’s TikTok video here!   Here’s an excerpt of UK’s The Independent article:

Nearly two decades since the theatrical release of Pride & Prejudice (2005) film, its cast has had mini reunions throughout the years not just working together again in other TV or film projects, they also have worked together on stage and see each other on various public events (ie. movie premieres, awards shows, etc.). Though it’s rare to see some of them reunite in public events (I remember being disappointed in 2015 when Keira and Rosamund were both in attendance in so many awards shows and pre/afterparties during awards season and not a single interaction nor a reunion photo was taken of them…as if they don’t know each other or ignoring each other, while their peers had reunions left and right…makes you wonder what happened to their close sisterhood and friendship after P&P…), but it’s always great when they do.  With the very recent mini reunions of  Rosamund Pike  and  Carey Mulligan   and Carey with   Matthew Macfadyen , I thought I’d comp...

Yes, you are reading this right!  Joe Wright 's  Pride & Prejudice  (starring  Keira Knightley  &  Matthew Macfadyen )  2005  film is coming back to  Netflix  (USA) next month, July 16, 2020! “Oh, happy day!” (quoting Mrs. Bennet here, hehe!) So glad Netflix is bringing this movie back on their streaming service because the last time this movie was there was four years ago! It was added there January 1st, 2016, but only for a few months, as it was taken out mid April 2016 (I guess for a limited streaming...). I wonder how long this will be on Netflix...hopefully, much longer than its previous run.  Here are screenshots of  See What’s Next on Netflix tweet about what’s coming to Netflix US...

Bored on extended lockdown or quarantine life? Running out of movies to watch? Well, I've compiled 10 movies (yes, including P&P movie, of course) starring or co-starring Pride & Prejudice (2005) movie actors to recommend you to add in your stay-at-home watch list. You may or may not have seen some of these movies, but if you haven't yet, I recommend you check them out and add them to your list to watch right now or for later. Though I've previously posted a 2-part movie recommendations list here: Movie Recommendations: TV & Films starring P&P actors and   Movie Recommendations: Other TV & Films starring P&P actors (part 2) almost a decade ago, I thought I'd bring it back with a new revised and updated list. Also, I've shorten the rec list to just 10 movies that not only I've seen (including the most recent Downton Abbey movie), but also I've loved and enjoyed watching (and even re-watched over the years). These movies are a mu...
