Where Are They Now? Pride & Prejudice (2005) Film's Main Cast 20 years later! (Part 1)
Starting my P&P (2005) movie's 20th Year Anniversary celebratory posts...
But first, let me just say that although the actual 20th anniversary for Pride & Prejudice (2005) film is not until later (September in the UK and November in the U.S.) this year of 2025, I am starting early and will be celebrating this movie throughout the year. In fact, Focus Features has already started with releasing an official 20th anniversary merchandise at the end of January. Then, they announced an Easter weekend re-release of P&P in theaters and more anniversary screening events have been added/scheduled for this month of May and June. Currently, it's still playing in U.S. Theaters for another extended week (May 1-8, 2025). It's currently showing in the UK and also in Mexico, New Zealand, Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden. Focus is also hosting a Pride & Prejudice anniversary Ball in Pasadena, CA later this month (May 22, 2025), and releasing P&P's Original Soundtrack (in partnership with Decca Records) with 3 different versions in vinyl formats later in June 27!

It is a truth universally acknowledged that the most successful film adaptation (I'm talking about the film version released/currently rereleased in Theaters/Cinemas, not the TV Mini-series version) of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, Joe Wright's 2005 Pride & Prejudice film (which was nominated for 4 Academy Awards aka the Oscars including Best Actress for its lead star Keira Knightley; 2 Golden Globe including Best Actress nomination for Knightley; and 6 BAFTA nominations including The Carl Foreman Award for Special Achievement by a British Director) has the best ensemble cast. The main cast of P&P movie are incredible and multi-talented. Some of them have been working steady and continued to get recognized on their own in various stage plays, television and film projects they've done since their P&P movie was released nearly 2 decades ago (September 16 in the UK and November 11, 2005 in the U.S.).
