Pride & Prejudice (2005) FAN Blog

I saw Johnny English Reborn and  The Big Year recently and both had Rosamund Pike co-starring in supporting roles as Kate Sumner , a Behavioral Psychologist  (in Johnny English Reborn ) and Jessica , a housewife (in The Big Year ). Rosamund Pike had 4 films (interestingly, I've seen all 4 of them!) released in theaters this year including these two. The other two were indie films: Barney's Version , which was nominated for an Oscar for Best Make-Up and won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in Comedy/Musical for Paul Giamatti , while Rosamund earn critical rave reviews for her supporting role as the title character's third wife and true love Miriam Grant Panofsky . I've seen this movie (and own it on Blu-ray/DVD) and loved it. Rosamund was brilliant in this film. Great movie! The other film was Burning Palms (with a big ensemble cast and told in 5 different stories that will mess you up for life ...or so it says...according to the film's tagline), ...

Burning Palms , one of Rosamund Pike 's upcoming films slated to be released this year, is interestingly, going to be released tomorrow ( January 14th ) in a very limited theatrical release (along with her other film, Barney's Version , the film she's been getting rave reviews of). Burning Palms was screened last year at the 2010 Newport Beach Film Festival ( April 23 , 2010). A weird teaser trailer along with an interesting movie poster (see it to your left) was released last year. The official trailer (and a new poster ) has now surfaced online and looks even more odd...but interesting cast including Rosamund , which you can see  her more in the trailer below as well as two more movie posters (one previously posted here )... Burning Palms stars Rosamund Pike along with a large ensemble cast that includes familiar names such as Shannen Doherty, Zoe Saldana, Lake Bell, Nick Stahl, Dylan McDermott, Paz Vega, Jamie Chung, and Robert Hoffman. Burning Palms , one of Rosamund Pike 's upcoming films slated to be released this year (2010) was recently screened at the 2010 Newport Beach Film Festival ( April 23 ). A weird teaser trailer along with an interesting movie poster has also been released. Burning Palms stars Rosamund Pike along with a large ensemble cast that includes familiar names such as Shannen Doherty, Zoe Saldana, Lake Bell, Nick Stahl, Dylan McDermott, Paz Vega, Jamie Chung, and Robert Hoffman. Brief Synopsis:  A subversive tale that interlaces five stories set in Los Angeles, where no taboo is left unexplored as each character careens toward a dark and often comic fate. No theatrical release date for this film as of yet, but you can watch the teaser trailer , RP's screen captures from the teaser trailer , and movie poster with a cool tagline , lol...Check them all out below!

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Rosamund Pike is in a new film with a large ensemble cast including one of my favorite actresses Shannen Doherty . How cool! Hope they'll meet and have some scenes together in this film... Read THR's news article below: NEW YORK -- Dylan McDermott, Zoe Saldana, Lake Bell, Nick Stahl, Paz Vega and Shannen Doherty are about to set Los Angeles on fire. They're heading into " Burning Palms ," writer-director Christopher Landon's satire of Angeleno stereotypes as told through five interlacing stories. The large ensemble cast also includes Adriana Barraza, Colleen Camp, Jamie Chung, Robert Hoffman, Peter Macdissi, Emily Meade, Anson Mount, Rosamund Pike , Austin Williams and Tom Wright.
