Burning Palms, one of Rosamund Pike's upcoming films slated to be released this year (2010) was recently screened at the 2010 Newport Beach Film Festival (April 23). A weird teaser trailer along with an interesting movie poster has also been released.

Burning Palms stars Rosamund Pike along with a large ensemble cast that includes familiar names such as Shannen Doherty, Zoe Saldana, Lake Bell, Nick Stahl, Dylan McDermott, Paz Vega, Jamie Chung, and Robert Hoffman.

Brief Synopsis: 

A subversive tale that interlaces five stories set in Los Angeles, where no taboo is left unexplored as each character careens toward a dark and often comic fate.
