Netflix just dropped yesterday (Thursday) the official trailer for  Keira Knightley 's hit spy thriller series, Black Doves  Season 2 ! Also, some  first look images of Keira Knightley as  Helen (a spy who is now the prime minister's wife!) were also released along with the trailer.  At Netflix's big UK Showcase event earlier last week, Netflix confirmed the release date for Season 2 of  Keira Knightley 's hit spy thriller series,  Black Doves . 

Here's a new further casting update of  Simon Woods ' upcoming feature film directorial debut The Worst , a dark comedy which he also wrote. This film is currently in-production and it stars his former Pride & Prejudice co-star  Keira Knightley . And now, with this recent casting news update, looks like  Tom Hollander  along with Sam Claflin , Anna Maxwell Martin , and more has been added to the already fabulous ensemble cast. Unfortunately, Jamie Dornan , who was previously announced has left the production. No reason has been cited for his departure. My only guess would be scheduling conflict as he looks to have some upcoming film projects he's been busy working on.  So, with Tom joining 'The Worst" cast, we'll have another P&P mini cast reunion with Keira, Simon, and Tom! Keira Knightley  is returning to stage in London after 15 years as she's just been cast in a stage adaptation of The Lives of Others  (See Ticket Info here ) with Bridgerton star Luke Thompson , and Stephen Dillane , which will be adapted and directed by Robert Icke. It'll begin performances at London's Adelphi Theatre on October 14, 2026 prior to an official opening on October 29, 2026 for a limited engagement through January 9, 2027 . Today  ( March 26th ) is the  two-time   Academy Award ®  Nominee  (for  Best Actress performance  of her   iconic role,  Elizabeth Bennet  in the  2005 's  Pride & Prejudice   film and  Best Supporting Actress  as  Joan Clarke  for  2014 's  The Imitation Game ) and recent  Golden Globe  and  Critics Choice Award Nominee  (for  Best Actress  in Netflix’s  Black Doves )  Keira Knightley 's  41st   Birthday!

Keira Knightley  &  Matthew Macfadyen  both attended this week's London Fashion Week 2026 . Unfortunately, not at the same LFW show as Keira attended Erdem’s fall 2026 collection show this past Sunday ( February 22, 2026 ) while Matthew attended Burberry’s Winter 2026 Show , Monday ( February 23, 2026 ). Still, it’s great to see them out and about at LFW this week. 

Keira Knightley   to reunite with former Pride & Prejudice co-star  Simon Woods , who will be directing her in his first feature film, a dark comedy “ The Worst ” with Alicia Vikander and Jaime Dornan joining the cast! Fun Facts: There’s actually a triple reunion here (see collage below), Keira & Simon (aka Miss Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Bingley in P&P 2005 movie), Keira and Alicia Vikander (aka Anna Karenina and Kitty Shcherbatskaya in AK 2012 movie), and Keira and Jaime Dornan were an ex-couple in real-life (they reportedly dated way back from 2003-2005). Per Variety :

Just received my  Pride & Prejudice funko pops  featuring  Keira Knightley 's  Elizabeth Bennet  &  Matthew Macfadyen 's  Mr. Darcy ! Love them! The details. They are so beautiful. I ordered them through  Funko 's website late January.  My Jane Austen Funko Pop is now together with her darling Elizabeth & Mr. Darcy ...my mini P&P/Austen funko Pops collection is now complete (unless, of course, they release more P&P movie characters)! 

2025 may have been over and the main 20th anniversary milestone for  Joe Wright 's  Pride & Prejudice  (2005) film starring  Keira Knightley  and  Matthew Macfadyen  in the UK (England/Ireland/Scotland), North America (USA/Canada), and some other European countries (ie. Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Austria, Switzerland, and Finland), and a couple Asian countries/territories (Australia, Singapore), but many more international countries have later released the movie not in 2005 , but the following year of 2006 , so P&P’s 20th anniversary in other countries continues in 2026 (see IMDB's listing of P&P release dates by countries here ) starting in the month of January (2006) all the way to October (2006)!  So, yeah, looks like more P&P cinema screening events are still happening in 2026 . If a certain country missed it last year, it might be doing it this year for its actual 20th anniversary and theatrical release year!

Happy 20th Year (US) Anniversary  PRIDE & PREJUDICE  (2005) Movie!

Keira Knightley 's new film,  The Woman in Cabin 10   is a big hit and the most streamed new movie on Netflix and overall the most watched movie right now (per Boardroom and Variety).   Not only did it spend at #1 in the Top 10 Movies in the U.S. for a week on Netflix, but it is also currently at #1  this week on Netflix's Global Top 10 Movies for two weeks now! Focus Features and Decca Records has just released a new variant of  Pride & Prejudice 's Soundtrack on Vinyl . The Pride & Prejudice Vinyl Picture Disc Edition is out now featuring the full Dario Marianelli soundtrack beautifully adorn with iconic scenes from the film. On this day,  September 19th,  (exactly  20 years  ago today), Decca Records released in the UK the  original music and soundtrack  from  Joe Wright 's  Pride & Prejudice  (2005) film starring  Keira Knightley  and  Matthew Macfadyen . The original music from the soundtrack was composed by  Academy Award *  Winner   Dario Marianelli  (* Atonement ,  Anna Karenina ) and was performed on the piano by pianist  Jean-Yves Thibaudet  with  Th e English Chamber Orchestra . In  the US, the P&P  soundtrack  was released,  November 15, 2005  by Decca Records.
