Tamzin Merchant  co-stars with  Shane West  ( Nikita ) in  WGN America 's new original scripted period TV drama series  Salem , which premiered last April 20th  at 10/9c to a solid start in ratings (and according to Deadline:  WGN’s ‘Salem’ Debut Surges In Live+3 Results ) for WGN America. Salem continues tonight with Episode 11 - Cat and Mouse . Great news on Salem , the freshman series has been renewed for a second season after just 3 episodes of airing. WGN America reportedly renewed the series with another 13 episodes order . Costumes for the 2005   Pride & Prejudice  film were designed by Academy Award winner*   Jacqueline Durran  ( Anna Karenina *), which was nominated for an Academy Award in Best Achievement in Costume Design  in 2006. Despite not winning her first Oscar nomination for P&P , Jaqueline ’s designs (See Pride & Prejudice (2005) Costumes designed by Jacqueline Durran ) have gone on to be used in several Regency era dramas, including   Becoming Jane ,  Sense and Sensibility and   Northanger Abbey . Keira Knightley 's new film   Begin Again   (formerly titled as  Can A Song Save Your Life? ) opens in select US theaters this Friday  June 27th and everywhere July 2nd ; And in UK Cinemas  July 11th .  Keira will be attending the New York Premiere today ( or tomorrow ). Also, she will be on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart on Comedy Central tonight and on The View tomorrow morning to promote this film.
