Movie Casting News: Jena Malone to star in Le Beau Mariage remake 'Claire'

According to Deadline, Jena Malone will star in a lead role in Claire, an American remake of Eric Rohmer's French film Le Beau Mariage.

EXCLUSIVE: The Hunger Games‘ Jena Malone has taken the lead role in Claire, an American remake of Eric Rohmer’s 1982 French pic Le Beau Mariage that’s gearing up with Rilean Pictures. Story follows an eccentric young woman in her 20s living in Long Island with her aunt and teenage cousin. Fed up with her married painter lover, Claire sets her sights on a man she barely knows with aims to get herself married. Project marks the feature debut of Grammy-nominated music video helmer Dori Oskowitz (Vice Media’s Blackout), who is directing a script by Juan Iglesias and Jonathan Saba. Iglesias and Saba also are producing for their new shingle Rilean Pictures. Malone appears in the next two installments of Lionsgate’s Hunger Games franchise and appears in this fall’s Paul Thomas Anderson film Inherent Vice. She’s currently touring with her band The Shoe and is repped by Gersh.

Today ( January 27th ) is the lovely and ethereally beautiful,  Golden Globe ,  BAFTA , Academy Award nominee  for  Best Actress  (for her outstanding performance as  Amy Dunne  in  Gone Girl ) and Emmy Award winner  Rosamund Pike  (aka  Pride & Prejudice 2005 's very own  Jane Bennet )'s  42nd Birthday ! Or is it?!?! Miss Pike herself just posted on her official Instagram page that today is her internet birthday (and somewhat not her real birthday)! Well, color me surprised (much like her P&P co-star Rupert Friend’s birthday confusion...) as I’ve been celebrating her birthday on this day for years, lol. I blame her IMDB and Wiki pages for not providing her real birthdate, if her actual birthday is, in fact not today! Although there’s that one time it was listed on the 28th, but for years and even now it’s still listed as the 27th! Our P&P (2005) movie's 10th Year Anniversary event here continues... One of the many things I love about Pride & Prejudice ( 2005 ) movie is the memorable and quotable quotes (and dialogue ). I know pretty much every line/quote uttered by various characters in this movie by heart. There isn't just one to remember because there are so many unforgettable quotes and one-liners from this movie. For my Top 10 Favorite Pride & Prejudice Movie Quotes here, it was very hard to pick and just narrow it down to 10, but that's the point of making a top 10 list. P&P Movie Script

I was looking through old threads over at IMDB a while back and I found a link to the P&P 2005 movie script ... from an awesome JA/P&P fanfiction related site called, Mrs. Darcy's Story Site . I've read the entire script from this site. It seemed accurate with deleted scenes included! (though there were spelling errors on some of the lines...just a lil' typo here and there)... Btw, the webmistress at Mrs. Darcy's site has added her comments to the script comparing this draft with what was actually released on film , which I thought was quite interesting (especially the deleted scenes from the movie ). It was a lot of fun to read. I thought I would keep the link and post it here (a lil' excerpt here) for those of you might be interested in reading this or have been looking for the P&P movie script/transcript online.
