This past Monday, I posted here  part 1 of Daniel Brookes filming experience as an Extra from Pride & Prejudice ( 2005 ) movie. Today, I'm posting here, part 2 (and the last part) of his filming experience in a TV or film set . Today ( January 27th ) is the lovely and ethereally beautiful, recently nominated (and winner in some awards) for Best Actress (for her outstanding performance as Amy Dunne in Gone Girl ) in various film critics awards plus Golden Globe , BAFTA , and Academy Award nominee Rosamund Pike  (aka Pride & Prejudice 's own Jane Bennet )'s  36th Birthday ! All the best to her on her upcoming film projects. Best wishes and good luck to her on the upcoming BAFTAs and Academy Awards next month! Later this year, in the Fall of 2015, Pride & Prejudice  (2005) film will be celebrating its 10th year anniversary of its theatrical release ( September in the UK and November in the US). One of the movie's extras , Daniel Brookes (who met most of the main cast on P&P movie set) has shared here his filming experience as one of the Militia men and his meeting Keira Knightley again in one of her movie premieres in London earlier last year. He was also an extra at another P&P related adaptation, the recently BBC and Masterpiece Mystery aired,  Death Comes to Pemberley .  He is sharing here his filming experience for that one as well, which will be posted here in a part 2 post very soon or sometime later this week. Last night, while Season 5 -  Episode 4 of Downton Abbey  was showing on PBS Masterpiece, the 21st SAG Awards was held and aired on TNT.  Downton Abbey   ( Penelope Wilton   co-star as   Isobel Crawley ) won their second  SAG award for  Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.  See a few photos of 5 of the DA cast who attended and watch their acceptance speech below...

I know I have previously posted about Begin Again theme song, Lost Stars here (about 7 months ago, June 2014), but I thought it's worth revisiting and posting here again because who knew 7 months later this song would be nominated for both the Critics Choice Movie Awards and the Oscars, right? I knew it was submitted and in short list contention for an Oscar nomination  for Best Original Song , but one never knows if it'll make it or not. It didn't get a nod on the recent Golden Globe Awards . Fortunately, when the Oscar Nominations was announced last Thursday , I was hoping, though didn't expect it to get nominated, but it did. So glad it was nominated because I love the song (I have it on repeat on my iPod playlist since I downloaded the track a few months ago) and  Keira Knightley   (who is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for The Imitation Game , with the film scoring 8   Oscar nominations , sounded great with this song and) did very good singing it (loved

New  Academy Award nominee   Rosamund Pike  ( Best Actress  for  Gone Girl ) and now  two-time Academy Award nominee   Keira Knightley  ( Best Supporting Actress  for  The Imitation Game ) attended  the 20th annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards at the Hollywood Palladium last night on January 15 , 2015 in Los Angeles, California. It's interesting that they both have been attending the same award shows recently and they still haven't been seen reuniting, mingling, or photographed together. I wonder why. The 2015 Oscar Nominations were announced (one of the announcers was Chris Pine , KK 's Jack Ryan costar) very early in the morning (5:30 am PT/8:30 ET),  and I'm very glad my Bennet girls   Rosamund Pike   and   Keira Knightley  made it in, in their acting categories and got Oscar nominated for Best Actress ( Rosamund Pike ) and Best Supporting Actress ( Keira Knightley , her second! First was Best Actress for Pride & Prejudice , almost a decade ago, of course) as they should be. Gone Girl , however, only got one nomination ! *shocking!* (and that was for Miss Pike only, which I'm glad she wasn't snubbed 'cause that would be just... #OMGICantEvenKnow (I was almost worried for her, lol...which I already was after the snubs of GG in other categories. That's unfortunate that  GG film was almost completely shutout, except for RP . I was hoping, but not expecting, at least a 5 nominations for GG including Best Picture , Best Adapted Screenplay , and

These are, as I said, unofficial and only meant for your own personal use and pleasure. The EE   British Academy of Film Award (BAFTA) Nominations  were announce very early in the morning (UK time) and I'm very glad my Bennet girls   Rosamund Pike   and   Keira Knightley  made it in, in their acting categories and got nominated for Best Actress ( Rosamund Pike ) and Best Supporting Actress ( Keira Knightley ) as they should be. Gone Girl only got a couple nods, while The Imitation Game got some including Best Film and Outstanding British Film . The BAFTAs will be held on February 8 at London’s Royal Opera House. Rosamund Pike   attended the 26th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Festival Awards Gala at Palm Springs Convention Center on Saurday, January 3, 2015 in Palm Springs, California.  She accepted her Breakthrough Actress award  (the first of hopefully, many deserving awards she'll be getting soon) for her outstanding performance as Amy (aka Amazing Amy ) Dunne in   Gone Girl , which   her co-stars Carrie Coon (who played her sister-in-law in the movie) and Kim Dickens (who played a police detective investigating the disappearance of Amazing  Amy ) presented to her. Today, January 4th , former  Pride & Prejudice star Claudie Blakley 's (best known to P&P Fans as Charlotte Lucas turned Mrs. Collins in P&P movie ) birthday. Claudie , born Claudia , Blakley is the sister of Kirsten Blakley, the lead singer with indie band Little Spitfire, and their father was  Alan Blakley , bassist with Brian Poole's Tremeloes, who had several pop hits in the 1960s. Sadly Alan died of cancer in 1996 and missed seeing his daughters' success. Claudie graduated from London's Central School ...  See full bio  (on IMDB). 2014 has been a really wonderful year for this  P&P '05 Blog  and it's all because of  YOU .  Thank YOU all so much  for  visiting ,  reading , and  commenting here and for making this year, a great year!  Like last year, I had a great time posting, updating, and keeping this  Blog  and  P&P movie  alive all year.
