Joe Wright 's Anna Karenina (starring former Pride & Prejudice stars Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen ) was set to have its US Premiere in New York for this coming Tuesday, October 30th , but the forthcoming Hurricane Sandy has forced it to suspend its premiere and will reschedule for another evening or so. Kelly Reilly 's Flight film's New York Monday screening has been suspended as well. The National Hurricane Center said it expected the storm to swing inland, probably on Monday evening. The hurricane center reported that the storm had sustained winds of almost 75 miles an hour. Great news for Rupert Friend 's Emmy Award winning series, Homeland . Not only that his debut appearance this past Sunday night on the series' season 2 , episode 4 delivered its most watched episode yet , the series, according to Deadline , has been picked up for a third season ! Looks like Rupert (who's American accent is quite impressive on this show!) is in great company and picked a great and award winning series to be part of. ‘Homeland’ Renewed For Third Season On the heels of sweeping the Primetime Emmys and scoring series highs with its second-season premiere , Showtime ‘s drama Homeland has been given a third-season pickup. Who knew over a year later, I would hear back from today's birthday celebrant ! The 6-time Primetime Emmy Award winner Homeland (Season 2) - premiered last September 30th at 10 PM ET/PT on Showtime and it was a great start! It previously aired episode 2 and episode 3  will be airing this coming Sunday, October 14th. As previously posted here , Rupert Friend has joined the ensemble cast of Claire Danes , Damain Lewis , and Mandy Patinkin recently and will be a regular in the second season of this Emmy award winning series. He will be playing a CIA Analyst character named Peter Quinn (could he be Matthew Macfadyen/Tom Quinn 's cousin from Spooks/MI-5 series? To quote RF 's P&P character Wickham , "Perhaps," lol). Anyway, I've seen episode one (of Season 2) and I didn't see him nor did it appear he was in episode 2. He's unlikely to be in episode 3, but it now looks like he will make his debut episode appearance in episode 4 ! Expanding my social network hangout and knowledge, I've just joined Tumblr (Follow me under First Impressions ) and Pinterest (feel free to LIKE and pin or repin my blog posts here and pins there!) late last night. As if Devoted P&P fan page on facebook , Twitter and this blog aren't keeping me busy enough, lol. Well, gotta keep up with the times as I'm always late on joining this other social networks. It took me long enough to join FB (which by the way, just reached 2000+ LIKES! yesterday! Yay!)...so might as well get with the program and on board with Tumblr and Penterest, which I've been contemplating on joining lately as I thought the trio of fb, twitter, and this blog are already enough (and takes a lot of time as they are) for me, but I guess not.
