Like my Top 10 Favorite individual Elizabeth Bennet and Darcy Moments posts, it was difficult to pick my Top 10 favorite moments of them as an OTP (One True Pair) too as they were both equally great as individuals as well as together (as a romantic couple). Keira Knightley & Matthew Macfadyen as Elizabeth & Darcy has the best on-screen chemistry . They were perfectly cast as these iconic characters Jane Austen created more two centuries and two ago. Our  P&P (2005) movie's 10th Year Anniversary  event  here continues...   In my previous guest posts , I’ve referenced the artistry of the 2005 Pride & Prejudice adaptation: the cinematography , the lush colors and amazingly beautiful locations , the exquisite musical score , symbolic clues and the emphasis on the differences of the various social classes . I appreciate all of those things because they only add to this film’s distinction, but what I love and appreciate the most is its liveliness , animation and the spontaneous feelings that manners cannot contain.  It appeals to me visually , audibly and emotionally .

Our P&P (2005) movie's 10th Year Anniversary event here continues... I previously posted about the main cast and supporting cast of Pride & Prejudice (2005) whose careers soared and have continued to be busy after their P&P (2005) film . I thought I'd include the people behind the scenes who made this beautiful movie happen as without them, this movie wouldn't have been made. Also, some of them are incredibly talented and you may (or may not) have been surprised to have seen their familiar work in other award winning films. Also, director Joe Wright not only love working with his actors from P&P in his other films, but also love working with the same production crew. Our P&P (2005) movie's 10th Year Anniversary event here continues... Yesterday afternoon (Saturday, September 26th ) and for the first time, more than a few hours later early this (Sunday, September 27th ) morning, there was another surprisingly, not back-to-back airing of Joe Wright 's 2005 Pride & Prejudice movie starring Keira Knightley & Matthew Macfadyen on TV. It was last shown on Bravo channel twice last August 8th and 9th.

Taking a little break here from our on going  P&P (2005) movie's 10th Year Anniversary  event ...to celebrate a birthday. Today  ( Sept. 26 ) is Talulah Riley 's (aka Mary Bennet of Pride & Prejudice 2005 film ) 29th birthday . Miss Riley was born in Hertfordshire , England (UK)  30 years ago today. Our P&P (2005) movie's 10th Year Anniversary event here continues... It was quite hard to pick my Top 10 Favorite Elizabeth Bennet Moments . It's even harder to pick my Top 10 favorite Darcy Moments in Pride & Prejudice ( 2005 ) movie . There were so many great Darcy moments/scenes in this movie. Matthew Macfadyen (my all-time and personal favorite Mr. Darcy ) did an AMAZING job portraying his Darcy role. In my opinion, he was simply perfect for this role. Even without a dialogue and he just stands there with his "quizzical brow" and stared (most of the time with those gorgeous blue eyes ) at Miss Elizabeth , he was just so mesmerizing and irresistible. I just love...love...love him as Mr. Darcy ! Here are my Top 10 favorite Darcy Moments in P&P movie ...

Our P&P (2005) movie's 10th Year Anniversary event here continues... I love that in Pride & Prejudice ( 2005 ) movie, almost every scene and events were seen through Elizabeth Bennet 's eyes as she's the main character , in which Jane Austen wrote her to be in her classic ( 202 years old) novel. Oscar Nominee* Keira Knightley ( nominated for an Oscar * - Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role for P&P movie for her Elizabeth Bennet role)'s Elizabeth  appeared in this film from the opening scene to the very last, Mrs. Darcy (American) ending scene . I love Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Bennet . In my opinion, she did an EXCELLENT job portraying this role. She had a lot of great moments/scenes that I loved and enjoyed watching. It was hard to pick my favorite EB moments/scenes and narrowed it down to just 10, but again, I had to pick only 10 for this post... Here are my Top 10 Favorite EB Moments in P&P movie ...

Taking a little pause here from our on going P&P (2005) movie's 10th Year Anniversary event ...to celebrate another big P&P anniversary , this time the 20th Anniversary of the Andrew Davies penned 1995 Pride and Prejudice starring Colin Firth & Jennifer Ehle . Our P&P (2005) movie's 10th Year Anniversary event here continues... One of the many things I love about Pride & Prejudice ( 2005 ) movie is the memorable and quotable quotes (and dialogue ). I know pretty much every line/quote uttered by various characters in this movie by heart. There isn't just one to remember because there are so many unforgettable quotes and one-liners from this movie. For my Top 10 Favorite Pride & Prejudice Movie Quotes here, it was very hard to pick and just narrow it down to 10, but that's the point of making a top 10 list. I know I left out a lot, but I managed to pick 10 that I can quote instantly and love the most. Obviously, the top 2 are a fan favorite, but mine too. On this day, September 19th, (exactly 10 years ago today), Decca Records released in the UK the  original music and soundtrack from Joe Wright 's Pride & Prejudice  (2005) film starring  Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen . The original music from the soundtrack was composed by Academy Award * Winner Dario Marianelli (* Atonement ,  Anna Karenina ) and was performed on the piano by pianist  Jean-Yves Thibaudet with Th e English Chamber Orchestra . In  the US, the P&P  soundtrack was released, November 15, 2005 by Decca Records. Our P&P (2005) movie's 10th Year Anniversary event here continues... I previously posted my Top 10 Favorite Pride & Prejudice moments . Now, lets get into my Top 10 Favorite Pride & Prejudice Movie Characters . My #1 favorite is a tie (obviously), I had to pick both for the top spot, because I love both characters equally. The UK Cinema release anniversary (yesterday) may have been over, but our celebration and appreciation for this movie continues as we're celebrating it here in this blog all month long. There are so many beautiful moments / scenes in Pride & Prejudice ( 2005 ) movie and, of course, it's hard to pick just one or two favorite. Our P&P (2005) movie's 10th Year Anniversary event here today continues... I had the pleasure in interviewing Pride & Prejudice (2005) film 's own Screenwriter , Deborah Moggach , who received a BAFTA nomination ( Adapted Screenplay ) for scripting Jane Austen 's Pride and Prejudice for the big screen, especially for our P&P 10th anniversary event and celebration here today. She is best known as the best-selling author of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (originally titled These Foolish Things ), which was adapted into the 2011 film starring Dame Judi Dench , Dame Maggie Smith , and Penelope Wilton and recently had a movie sequel, The Second Best Exotic Mariogold Hotel . Another one of her novels, Tulip Fever has been adapted into a new movie with Judi Dench and Tom Hollander co-starring. Her newest novel, Something To Hide was recently published. The Mr. Darcy's Bust for sale post kind of inspired me to post this as it's definitely on my wish list to purchase a copy of Darcy's bust to add to my collection. Our P&P (2005) movie's 10th Year Anniversary event here continues... I'm convinced one of the greatest debates ever started on the Internet never involved parenting, social issues, nor politics. No. I dare say the greatest debate I ever witnessed on the Internet dared to ask an innocent question. Which actor played the better Mr. Darcy ? Far be it for me to be divisive and start a lively debate. Instead, I wish to share the joy of why the 2005 adaptation of Pride and Prejudice film remains my favorite .

Pride & Prejudice director  Joe Wright and a few of his main P&P cast: Keira Knightley , Matthew Macfadyen , Rosamund Pike , and Brenda Blethyn were in attendance ten years ago today (and this week) at the 2005 Toronto International Film Festival ( September 10-12 ). Now, we're revisiting the London (UK) premiere exactly 10 years ago today back 2005 when almost the entire cast ( Keira Knightley , Matthew Macfadyen , Rosamund Pike , Jena Malone ,  Carey Mulligan ,  Talulah Riley , Brenda Blethyn , Donald Sutherland , Tom Hollander , Simon Woods , Kelly Reilly , and Claudie Blakley ) and some crew (including director Joe Wright ) of Pride & Prejudice (2005) film were in attendance (which is rare nowadays for a cast of other movies to be present for a world premiere) and posed for a cast photo opt session at the London (UK) World Premiere of  Pride & Prejudice ( September 5, 2005 ) at Odeon Leicester Square , London England . Well, not exactly the actual Darcy bust , which we've all seen in Pride & Prejudice ( 2005 ) movie, but according to Darcylicious , a scaled versions of the famous Mr. Darcy bust that was shown in the 2005 movie Pride & Prejudice are now on sale at the Chatsworth Gift Shop . This will make a great birthday or Christmas present! I most definitely would love to get one of this for my own to add to my P&P movie collection ...hopefully, soon! Yesterday, I posted about Maia's Highclere Castle visit and a Downton Abbey Exhibition at Basildon Park (Part 2) and the day before, A Special Pride & Prejudice (2005) Exhibition at Basildon Park with Maia (Part 1) . As aforementioned, my friend Maia from Hungary, who just recently visited Basildon Park , one of P&P movie 's filming locations last August ( 11th ) as well as Downton Abbey 's (there was a Downton Abbey Exhibition at Basildon Park too). She also visited Highclere Castle ( August 12th ), the main house used as Downton Abbey and another P&P filming location, Wilton House ( August 13th ), which she is sharing here with us her experience in visiting the house.
