Pride & Prejudice (2005) Fan Blog   celebrates 6 Years Online! Okay, I almost forgot to post and mention here that on this day ( May 29th, 2007 ), I started this blog. Wow, 6   years ! I can't believe it's been 6 years already! It seems just like yesterday, I was a virgin to blogger, lol..and was learning and figuring out how to add codes and contents to this blog. I never thought I'd be blogging about all things P&P, let alone this long, but it's all because of my love for this movie version of  Pride & Prejudice   and the amazing actors who portrayed my favorite P&P characters brilliantly on this 4th-time Oscar nominated film. I really enjoyed blogging here and posting all things  P&P and Austen  related topics as frequently as I've been able to for all these 6 years. And you know what they say, time flies when you're having so much fun. Indeed, it had flown by so quickly. I must say, I have loved and enjoyed posting here and

The casting for Darcy , Elizabeth , Wickham in the upcoming BBC1's 3-part murder-mystery TV mini-series, Death Comes to Pemberley has just been announced and released. According to Deadline , Matthew Rhys (who co-starred with Keira Knightley in The Edge of Love film) and Anna Maxwell Martin (who co-starred with Carey Mulligan in Bleak House, with Penelope Wilton on South Riding, and sister to Anne Hathaway 's Jane Austen in Becoming Jane ) has been cast to play Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth (Bennet) Darcy . Matthew Goode (who co-starred with Penelope Wilton in Matchpoint and Claudie Blakley in He Knew He Was Right ) will play Mr. Wickham . Edgar Wright 's  The World's End has released Two new posters for 'The World's End' featuring Rosamund Pike the other day (Tuesday). Yesterday (Wednesday), a new trailer was released and Rosamund Pike appeared more on it.   The story centers on five childhood friends (played by  Simon Pegg ,  Nick Frost, Eddie Marsan, Paddy Considine , and  Martin Freeman ) going through an epic pub crawl in order to reach the fabled pub, “The World’s End”. Carey Mulligan  attended  The Great Gatsby 's   opening night premiere at The 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival   with   co-stars  Leonardo DiCaprio, Isla Fisher ,  Joel Edgerton ,  Tobey Maguire , and Amitabh Bachchan and   director Baz Luhrman  in Cannes, France on May 15, 2013 . Speaking of The Great Gatsby movie, it had a solid and impressive opening weekend debut at #2 (just a bit below Iron Man 3) at the box-office with $50+ million US domestic gross . With a production budget of $105 million , according to Box Office Mojo . PBS has announced today the US premiere date for Season 4 of   5-time Emmy Award winner   and   5-time Golden Globe nominee   Downton Abbey   ( Penelope Wilton   co-stars as   Isobel Crawley ) will still be another 4 long months (with spoilers galore from the UK, whose fans get to see this period drama first in September 2013 before the US and other countries do...bummer! Looks like  Rosamund Pike   will be busy filming two new films back to back this summer starting this week in New Orleans with an indie drama Return To Sender with Shiloh Fernandez and What We Did On Our Holiday with David Tennant starting mid-June. She just recently filmed Hector and the Search for Happiness with Simon Pegg (who was hilariously stalking Miss Pike with his random #roswatch tweets and photos on twitter, lol...) Also, Rosamund  is set to star with  Guy Pearce  in an Aussie drama  Violet Town . Carey Mulligan 's upcoming movie, the Joel and Ethan Coen ’ s   Inside Llewyn Davis now has a theatrical release date of December 6th . New stills including a not-so-new, but now in colored still ( via The Playlist ) of Carey and Justin Timberlake singing together what look like a bar scene. Back from the dead, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies resurfaced with a new director and lead female set to be cast. According to Variety , Burr Steers ( 17 Again , Charlie St. Cloud ) is on board to direct with Lily Collins ( Mortal Instruments: City of Bones , Mirror Mirror , The Blind Side ) in negotiations to star as Elizabeth Bennet in the adaptation of Seth Grahame Smith ’s mash-up of Jane Austen 's literary classic Pride and Prejudice .
