Today ( May 28th ), is the  39th birthday  of three-time  Academy Award Nominee*  (and  BAFTA award winner  for  Best Actress  in  An Education *, Promising Young Woman*, Maestro*)  and  Tony Award nominee  (for Broadway play  Skylight  as  Kyra Hollis ),  Carey Mulligan ,  best known to us,  P&P movie fans,  as  Kitty Bennet  (and also as  Isabella Thorpe  in   Northanger Abbey )! Jena Malone  appears in a blink-and-you-missed her in the new trailer for  Kevin Costner ’s new western film,  Horizon: An American Saga , which he co-wrote and directed. It'll be released in 2 parts/2 Chapters. Chapter 1 will be released by Warner Bros. Pictures in theaters next month  June 28 ! Keira Knightley   has another new Netflix project! She’s currently filming Netflix’s upcoming series, Black Doves , which slated for a December 2024 release. Jena Malone  is reuniting with her Hatfields & McCoys co-star Kevin Costner’s new western film, Horizon: An American Saga , which he is directing and it will be released by Warner Bros. A third Downton Abbey  film  with most of the original cast returning including   Penelope Wilton  as   Isobel Crawley  (aka  Lady Merton ) has been announced today by Focus Features and Carnival Films with a sweet video on Instagram of the cast returning on set.  Read more via Focus Features’ announcement for DA’s third film below!

Congratulations to  Matthew Macfadyen  (photo via HBO/Succession) for winning his third BAFTA award (two of them for Succession )! He won Best Supporting Actor for Succession . Unfortunately, Matthew didn’t attend this award show as he was probably filming his upcoming Netflix series ( Death By Lightning  with  Michael Shannon ).  Congrats (again) to MM !!
