Indeed, a happy Bennet Sisters ' reunion between  Rosamund Pike  ( Jane Bennet ) and  Carey Mulligan  ( Kitty Bennet ) we didn't know we needed for 2023! A big thanks to Miss Rosamund Pike herself for the Saltburn on set/bts photos she shared   on her official IG account   promoting the film and I've included a couple collages her and Carey 's P&P on set/bts photos.

Recent Golden Globe and Critics Choice Awards nominee  Carey Mulligan  (Variety mag cover via Variety) was recently one of the four honorees for Variety's Powerful Women event last November. 

Happy 248th Birthday  to the lovely, genius and way ahead of her time, beloved English novelist, the one and only,  JANE AUSTEN ! Remembering and  celebrating her birthday  today,  Jane Austen , the woman who wrote the original  Pride and Prejudice   novel (which had been made into  several TV and Film adaptations  including the  2005 film,  Pride & Prejudice ), which was her first (can you believe  unsuccessful ?!) submission to a publisher back in  1797  ( 226  years ago) titled  "First Impressions"  (later changed to  "Pride and Prejudice" ). She revised " First Impressions " and published it entitled " Pride and Prejudice " in  1813  ( 210  years ago, 11 months ago this year!).

Congratulations are in order for three of Pride & Prejudice (2005) film actors:  Matthew Macfadyen ,  Rosamund Pike , and  Carey Mulligan   for their 2024 Golden Globe Award Nominations !!! Matthew is nominated for Best Supporting Actor for Succession and this is his first Golden Globe nomination. Rosamund is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for Saltburn and this is her fourth GG nomination. She won one before for Best Actress in Netflix's I Care A Lot movie . And Carey  is nominated for Best Actress for Maestro and this is her fourth nomination. She was last nominated just last year for She Said movie.The 2024 Golden Globe Awards ceremony will take place January 7, 2024 at the Beverly Hilton and air live on  CBS  and Paramount+. 

Today  Dame  Judi Dench ,    Pride & Prejudice   2005 's very own  Lady Catherine  celebrates her  89th birthday . Born  Judith Olivia Dench ,   December 9 ,  1934  in  York, North Yorkshire, England, UK . Happy Birthday Dame Judi Dench!!! Worth re-posting...
