Director  Joe Wright ‘ s Darkest Hour film had been a box-office success and an award season winner recently, especially for his leading actor Gary Oldman, who won every single nomination he has received including the big three awards he won earlier this year such as the Golden Globes, BAFTA, and most recently an Oscar win for Best Actor for Oldman. While director Joe Wright was snubbed on best director for all these awards shows (nothing new here, if he didn’t get a nod for his feature film, Pride & Prejudice film and other films after that...I didn’t expect him to get one for DH), it’s still nice that his film got 6 Oscar nominations and two wins including for Oldman, which was very well-deserved as well as for Hair & Makeup. Anyway, JW’s next film, which he will be directing according to THR , will be a psychological thriller titled The Woman in the Window . Read more info. below via THR...

Today ( March 26th ) is the two-time Academy Award ® Nominee (for Best Actress performance of her iconic role, Elizabeth Bennet in the 2005 's Pride & Prejudice film and Best Supporting Actress as Joan Clarke for 2014 's The Imitation Game ) Keira Knightley 's 33rd Birthday!

Carey Mulligan   stars in the new BBC 2 four-part Original TV Drama titled Collateral , which aired recently (February 12th). It's just premiered last March 9th and is now currently streaming on Netflix. Collateral is set over the course of four days in London, it explores the spiraling repercussions surrounding the fatal shooting of a pizza delivery man. Detective Inspector Kip Glaspie ( Carey Mulligan ) refuses to accept that this is a random act of violence, and is determined to discover if there is a darker truth. Just finished watching all 4-episodes (this afternoon) of this limited series and it was very good! If you haeve Netflix  subscription, you can watch Collateral here . As previously posted here last year,  Kelly Reilly  joined  Kevin Costner  (who previously co-starred with  Keira Knightley  in   Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit  film   and  Jena Malone  in History's  Hatfields & McCoys  epic Mini-Series), Luke Grimes, Wes Bentley, and Cole Hauser in Paramount Network's (currently Spike TV) in the upcoming TV Drama series (10 one-hour episode series) titled  Yellowstone , which follows the  Dutton family , led by John Dutton (Costner), who controls the largest contiguous ranch in the United States, under constant attack by those it borders – land developers, an Indian reservation, and America’s first National Park.  Kelly  will play Costner's daughter  Beth , one of his three children. Keira Knightley   has been the face and spokesperson for Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle Fragrance for over a decade (11 years) now. According to Time , Chanel first announced that Knightley would represent its Coco Mademoiselle fragrance in late 2006, when she was 21. The ads did not appear until the next year, but they eventually arrived in both film and print. Keira  and  Joe Wright , her  Pride & Prejudice / Atonement / Anna Karenina  director, had collaborated together in 3 Chanel mini-films commercials. Today ( March 4th ) is the 31st birthday of Tamzin Merchant (aka Georgiana Darcy in the 2005 Pride & Prejudice film).
