Looks like there are a few Downton Abbey cast reunion in this upcoming period historical drama, The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society (such a long title! And here I thought The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel ...But this one's even longer, lol) starring Lily James (aka Lady Rose in DA),  Penelope Wilton  (Isobel Crawley),  Matthew Goode (Henry Talbot), and Jessica Brown Findlay (the late Lady Sybil Crawley). Based on the New York Times best-selling book by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows, the film has no U.S. release date yet, but will be in UK Cinemas on April 20th. Today, February 20th , is the 72nd birthday  of  two-time Academy Award Award Nominee   Brenda Blethyn , best known to us  P&P fans  as  Mrs. Bennet , the five  Bennet girls '  mother  in the 2005  Pride & Prejudice  film. After twenty years of hard work on stage and both television and films, there are not many other actresses who deserved the success, recognition and stardom which  Brenda Blethyn  has now achieved. Currently seen on ITV's Vera series, which is now on its eighth season. ( Meet the cast of Vera series eight ) Born in (February 20th) 1946 in Ramsgate in Kent, England, she started her career at British Rail in the 1960s. Saving money during her time there, she took a risk and enrolled herself at the at The Guildford School of Acting in Guildford, Surrey, England and then left her British Rail years behind. Her risk had paid off, by the mid-1970s she was working on stage, eventually joining the National Theatre Company in 1975. ( Read more of he

Continuing from my previous posts ( Chapters 1-22 ), skipping Chapter 23 (since there's no dialogue that were similar to the movie's script) and moving right on to Chapter 24 , which was about Elizabeth and her Papa, Mr. Bennet having a brief conversation after her older sister Jane left for London. The first trailer for the suspense thriller 10x10 starring  Kelly Reilly  and Luke Evans has been released along with the promotional poster above. The film is slated for an April 2018 release! Watch the 10x10 trailer below...

Four years ago (November 2014),  Simon Woods  ( Mr. Bingley ) had A Mini Pride & Prejudice Reunion with Carey Mulligan  and today he had another one with  Keira Knightley  ( Elizabeth Bennet ) at Christopher Bailey 's ( Simon 's partner) Burberry Fall 2018 Show  during the London Fashion Week . I love seeing former P&P co-stars reunite at random events like red carpets at awards shows, movie premieres, charity events or fashion shows. Speaking of P&P cast reunions, Keira also recently reunited with  Tom Hollander  at a BGC charity event in the UK. Elizabeth Bennet ( Pride & Prejudice 2005) & Mr. Collins ( Pride and Prejudice And Zombies ) in a spy movie together? Sounds interesting!  Keira Knightley , who previously co-starred with her P&P film co-star Tom Hollander twice after P&P movie with two Pirates sequels ( Dead Man's Chest and At World's End ) is co-starring with another Mr. Collins actor (not TH), Matt Smith (of PPZ movie).
