Watch: Donald Sutherland and Jena Malone in the first teaser trailer of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2!

Lionsgate just released earlier this afternoon the first The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 (Donald Sutherland as President Snow and Jena Malone as Johanna Mason co-star) teaser trailer for director Francis Lawrence's final installment of the THG franchise. The teaser trailer featured a quick (blink and you'll miss it) glimpse of Jena's Johanna Mason character (who I didn't noticed was even there in this trailer until after I made a few screen captures...she appeared in the first 9 seconds of the trailer in a flash...with *gasp* no hair!...just behind Effie Trinket...and that's about it! See screen cap of her above and below...) and Donald's President Snow. In the conclusion, Panem has gone to war, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and President Snow (Donald Sutherland) have come to their final confrontation. A week ago, I posted here the first official Mockingjay - Part 2 poster featuring Donald Sutherland, and according to Collider, the final Epilogue scene was shot this past weekend!

Here’s the official synopsis for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2:

With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin), and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her.
