Box Office Weekend: Mockingjay - Part 1 at #1 with $123 million and claim 2014 BO record; Gone Girl remains at top 5 for 8 straight weeks!

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 (Donald Sutherland as President Snow and Jena Malone as Johanna Mason co-star) easily tops this weekend's US Box Office with an early estimate of $123 million (though it is off 22 percent from last year's Catching Fire). It's foreign Box office is doing even much better with $152 million (on its opening weekend) than its domestic total with a worldwide total of $275 million. Meanwhile, Gone Girl (starring Rosamund Pike and Ben Affleck) continued to have an impressive legs at the box office and remained at the top 5 for 8 straight weeks in row with $2.8 million this weekend and a domestic total of $156.8 million. Its foreign total is now $170.9 million and worldwide total of $327.7 million.
