Watch: Donald Sutherland in 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1' teaser trailer!
A new official teaser trailer #OurLeaderTheMockingjay from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 has just been released today by Lionsgate. It debuted at SDCC2014 (San Diego Comic-Con) over the weekend via Samsung Galaxy's tablets. In partnership with Samsung, Lionsgate set up the The Capitol Gallery at the Samsung Galaxy Experience right inside the Hard Rock Hotel’s Lounge 207. This one features familiar images of two captive tributes from district 7, Jena Malone's Johanna Mason and district 12, Josh Hutcherson's Peeta Mellark.
The minute and four seconds long, teaser trailer features a brief shot of Donald Sutherland's character President Snow. Jena Malone, on the other hand, wasn't on this trailer.
Also, as part of the #OurLeaderTheMockingjay Official Teaser Trailer marketing, THG fans nationwide were given an opportunity to visit their local Best Buy stores (the participating stores) this past weekend (July 26 and 27 only) to see the Teaser Trailer on Samsung Mobile USA #GalaxyTabS before the worldwide debut, and receive an exclusive #Mockingjay pin plus a free ticket to see the film in November! See Samsung Galaxy Tab S Debuts "Our Leader The Mockingjay" Trailer (12 photos via The Hunger Games official Facebook page). Wow, I didn't read about this info. until yesterday. So, I quickly stopped by at my local Best Buy store and check out the teaser trailer! And yes, just for watching the teaser trailer, I got a free Mockingjay poster, pin, and movie ticket (see my collage photo of them below) for November!!! How awesome is that?!! Thanks Best Buy, Samsung Galaxy, and Lionsgate! I'm so ready to see this movie already!
Mockingjay: Part 1, the penultimate chapter of the third film (from The Hunger Games trilogy) will be opening in theaters nationwide November 21st (Jena's birthday!). The film also stars Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Stanley Tucci, and Julianne Moore.

The worldwide phenomenon of The Hunger Games continues to set the world on fire with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, which finds Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) in District 13 after she literally shatters the games forever. Under the leadership of President Coin (Julianne Moore) and the advice of her trusted friends, Katniss spreads her wings as she fights to save Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and a nation moved by her courage. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 is directed by Francis Lawrence from a screenplay by Danny Strong and Peter Craig and produced by Nina Jacobson’s Color Force in tandem with producer Jon Kilik. The novel on which the film is based is the third in a trilogy written by Suzanne Collins that has over 65 million copies in print in the U.S. alone.
