Matthew Macfadyen to attend both MIPCOM 2012 and RomaFictionFest 2012 for BBC WorldWide and 'Ripper Street'
Matthew Macfadyen is said to be attending two events in early October to promote his upcoming eight part drama series Ripper Street (BBC One and BBC America), which will be airing in October.
Matthew will be attending RomaFictionFest 2012 for BBC WorldWide.
RomaFictionFest 2012 is held in Rome, Italy from September 30th - October 5th.
Also, BBC Worldwide will be hosting the stars of the brilliant new
crime drama Ripper Street at MIPCOM 2012 as Matthew Macfadyen (Pride
and Prejudice, Spooks), Jerome Flynn (Game of Thrones) and Adam
Rothenberg (Alcatraz) fly down to Cannes to launch the series at a
special event on 8th October. RomaFictionFest 2012 is held in Rome, Italy from September 30th - October 5th.
RomaFictionFest is the biggest worldwide festival dedicated to international television fiction from TV series to TV movies, from mini-series to docu-fiction and from comedy to former great works. In its entirety the festival has become an important point of reference for the public, sector professionals and both local and international talent.BBC Worldwide is to have an entire day dedicated to the drama titles it represents around the world.
Taking place on Monday 1st October at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, the exclusive BBC Worldwide events will feature a masterclass, two panel sessions and drama premieres that will be open to attending industry and general public.
Matthew Macfadyen (Pride and Prejudice, Spooks) will walk the red carpet at the premiere of new crime drama Ripper Street.
