Watch: a sneak peek of History's 'Hatfields & McCoys' starring Kevin Costner, Bill Paxton, and Jena Malone
Watch a sneak peek of History channel's highly anticipated scripted
mini-series HATFIELDS & MCCOYS starring Kevin Costner, Bill Paxton, Jena Malone, Tom
Berenger, Powers Boothe and Mare Winningham.
Hatfields & McCoys chronicle of one of the most infamous family rivalries in American history. Kevin Costner plays “Devil” Anse Hatfield and Bill Paxton plays Randall McCoy in the three-part miniseries, which premieres on Memorial Day (May 28th).
The trailer looks pretty good along with the song/music that fits with the random clips used and Jena Malone (she plays Nancy McCoy) looked pretty kick-ass with her serious stare in the few seconds she appeared in the trailer, lol. Can't wait to see this!
Watch the sneak peek trailer via History Channel’s official website or below (with a few screen captures of JM and a synopsis too)...

Here’s a synopsis for the Hatfield/McCoy conflict (via Collider):
The Hatfield-McCoy saga begins with Devil Anse Hatfield and Randall McCoy. Close friends and comrades during the Civil War, they returned to their neighboring homes — Hatfield in West Virginia, McCoy just across the Tug River border in Kentucky — to increasing tensions, misunderstandings and resentments that soon exploded into all-out warfare between the two families. As hostilities grew, friends, neighbors and outside forces joined the fight, bringing the two states to the brink of another Civil War.
Their story also includes: a tempestuous love affair between Hatfield’s son and McCoy’s daughter, which had disastrous consequences; the execution of McCoy’s three young sons in retaliation for the Rasputin-like murder of Hatfield’s beloved brother; a New Year’s Massacre of the McCoy clan and burning of their home, which also sparked international headlines; a public clash between state governors; and ultimately the involvement of the United States Supreme Court.
