On TV Tonight: Watch Jennifer Ehle on the series premiere of 'A Gifted Man' on CBS

Tonight (and every Friday nights at 8/7C) watch Jennifer Ehle (Pride and Prejudice 1995's Elizabeth Bennet) on the series premiere of A Gifted Man on CBS. A Gifted Man is a drama starring Patrick Wilson (Morning Glory, The Phantom of the Opera) as Michael Holt, a charismatic, ultra-motivated surgeon whose life changes forever when his deceased ex-wife (Jennifer Ehle) begins teaching him the meaning of life from the "hereafter." Rachelle Lefevre (Barney's Version, Twilight movies),  Margo Martindale, and Pablo Schreiber also co-star.  

When a well-known surgeon begins seeing his dead ex-wife he starts questioning the meaning of life and his place in the world. 'A Gifted Man' begins this Fall on CBS!

Speaking of Jennifer Ehle, she's currently seen in theaters now with the recent #1 movie, Contagion, which she co-stars with a big ensemble cast including 2 other Austen actresses Gwyneth Paltrow (Emma 1996) and Kate Winslet (Sense and Sensibility 1995). With Matt Damon, Laurence Fishburne, Marion Cotillard, and Jude Law in the cast as well. Previously, she had a small role in the Oscar winning film The King's Speech with her former P&P'95 co-star Colin Firth. She also had a small cameo in The Adjustment Bureau with Matt Damon and Emily Blunt, and The Greatest with Carey Mulligan. Her next film will be The Ides of March with George Clooney and Ryan Gosling, which will be in theaters October 7th!

Jennifer Ehle is an award-winning stage and screen actress. She has won two Tony Awards, the first for the Broadway revival of Tom Stoppard's "The Real Thing," and the second for her portrayal of three characters in Stoppard's "The Coast of Utopia." She earned a BAFTA award for her performance in the television adaptation of Jane Austen's classic "Pride and Prejudice." She was nominated for a second BAFTA for her performance in "Wilde," and received wide critical acclaim for her role in the film "Sunshine." Most recently, Ehle was in the Academy Award-winning feature film, "The King's Speech" as Myrtle Logue, the wife of King George VI's speech therapist. Her additional film credits include "Contagion," "Pride and Glory" and "The Ides of March," among others. The daughter of actress Rosemary Harris and novelist John Ehle, Jennifer was raised primarily in North Carolina but also spent time in London and New York.
