DVD Release Dates for Brothers, Pirate Radio, and Sherlock Holmes

DVD and Blu-ray Disc releases for Brothers (featuring a small role by Oscar Nominee Carey Mulligan), Pirate Radio (with  Talulah Riley co-starring), and Sherlock Holmes (with Kelly Reilly co-starring) have recently been announced the studios of these films, according to DVD Active.

Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced DVD ($29.95) and Blu-ray ($39.99) releases of Brothers which stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Tobey Maguire, and Natalie Portman. Each will be available March 23rd. Extras will include audio commentary by Director Jim Sheridan, and 2 featurettes ("Remade in the USA: How Brødre Became Brothers", "Jim Sheridan: Film and Family").

Synopsis
 A Marine about to embark on his fourth tour of duty, Sam (Maguire) is a steadfast family man married to his high school sweetheart, the aptly named Grace (Portman), with whom he has two young daughters.  Tommy (Gyllenhaal), his charismatic younger brother, is a drifter just out of jail who’s always gotten by on wit and charm.   He slides easily into his role as family provocateur on his first night out of prison, which is also Sam’s farewell dinner with their parents, Elsie (Winningham) and Hank Cahill (Shepard).  When Sam’s Blackhawk helicopter is shot down in the mountains of Afghanistan, the worst is presumed, leaving an enormous void in the family.  Tommy steps in to fill the void with consequences that will shake the foundation of the entire family.

Universal Home Video has announced DVD and Blu-ray releases of Pirate Radio (The Boat That Rocked) for the 13th April. The only extra material on the DVD release will be a commentary from Director Richard Curtis, Producer Hilary Bevan Jones and actors Nick Frost and Chris O’Dowd, and deleted scenes. The Blu-ray release will include all that, along with featurettes ("Tuning In", "7 of Heaven", "All at Sea", "Getting Ship Shape", "Hitting the Decks", "Mark's Love Den"), and BD-Live features.

Warner Home Video has announced DVD ($28.98) and Blu-ray/DVD Combo ($35.99) releases of Sherlock Holmes which stars Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law. Each will be available to own from the 30th March. As far as we know, the only extra material on the DVD release will be a Sherlock Holmes: Reinvented featurette. The Blu-ray/DVD Combo will include that, along with a WB Maximum Movie Mode (Director Guy Ritchie Walk On, PIP, Focus Points, Storyboard Comparisons, Still Gallery Timeline), deleted scenes, and a digital copy of the film.
