The first trailer for Pride & Prejudice director  Joe Wright 's   upcoming film, PAN  starring newcomer  Levi Miller (as Peter ) and Hugh Jackman (as Blackbeard ) has just been released today via  Warner Bros . along with a few character posters and couple promo stills . Box Office Weekend: Mockingjay - Part 1 at #1 with $123 million and claim 2014 BO record; Gone Girl remains at top 5 for 8 straight weeks!

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1   ( Donald Sutherland   as  President Snow  and  Jena Malone   as  Johanna Mason  co-star) easily tops this weekend's US Box Office with an early estimate of $123 million  (though it  is off 22 percent from last year's  Catching Fire ). It's foreign Box office is doing even much better with $152 million  (on its opening weekend) than its domestic total with a worldwide total of $275 million . Meanwhile,  Gone Girl  (starring  Rosamund Pike and   Ben Affleck ) continued to have an impressive legs at the box office and remained at the top 5 for 8 straight weeks in row with $2.8 million this weekend and a domestic total of $156.8 million . Movie Casting News: Rosamund Pike circling to star in 'The Mountain Between Us' film

According to Deadline , Rosamund Pike , who is currently having a huge box office success of her career with Gone Girl (which remains at the top 5 , with a current domestic total of $152.9 million and foreign total of $166.2 million and a global total of $319.1 million as of November 17th, 2014 via Box Office Mojo , for the 7th straight weeks in a row), is in early talks to star in The Mountain Between Us with Charlie Hunnam ( Sons of Anarchy , Nicholas Nickelby ) in the male lead and filming is said to start in late 2015. This isn't confirmed yet, of course. We'll find out soon... More info. about the movie and Rosamund 's possible role below...

Keira Knightley  won Hollywood Supporting Actress Award for  The Imitation Game at tonight's The 18th Annual Hollywood Film Awards ( HFA ) at The Palladium on November 14, 2014 in Hollywood, California. She was presented the award by her A Dangerous Method co-star Christoph Waltz. Also, The Imitation Game won 3 more HFAs including Hollywood Actor award for Benedict Cumberbatch . Unfortunately, Rosamund Pike was neither in attendance (she's pregnant and is probably due to give birth any day now...) nor did she win an award (she should've...she was amazing Amy in the film!), but her movie  Gone Girl won three awards including the top award of the night, Hollywood Film Award! Her co-star Ben Affleck accepted the award in behalf of the cast and crew. Almost a year ago (December 2013),  Rupert Friend   did a Q&A - Homeland star Rupert Friend on his WhoSay account and in one of the fan questions he answered that he will be working together again and reuniting with his  The Young Victoria   co-star  Emily Blunt .  This got me excited as I loved them in TYV movie. I haven't heard anything about this project in a long time though until today as it's finally happening and it's been reported that  Emily Blunt  is in talks to join and co-star with Rupert again in the feature film Barton & Charlie & Checco & Bill , which he wrote, is co-producing, and is directing. Updating here with a new post (from my last four previous posts, which I've started about 6 years ago or so back in 2008! ) about The Many Faces of Elizabeth Bennet  to add Lily James as Elizabeth Bennet (in the long list of actresses who played EB since 1940) from the upcoming 2015 release, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies , a  parody adaptation   of Jane Austen 's classic Pride and Prejudice novel.  So, I've created another new post here and updated the previous post. The 2015 People's Choice Awards nominees has been announced and Downton Abbey  ( Penelope Wilton  co-star as  Isobel Crawley ) , Gone Girl (starring  Rosamund Pike ) , and Heaven Is For Real ( Kelly Reilly co-stars) each got a nomination. Interesting Gone Girl got a nomination for Favorite Thriller Movie and Ben Affleck for Favorite Dramatic Movie Actor , but Rosamund Pike didn't get a nod for her amazing Amy role. Hmm, okay... Downton Abbey renewed for a 6th Season! Plus new Season 5 Cast Promo and BTS Photos featuring Penelope Wilton

Season 5 for Downton Abbey  ( Penelope Wilton  co-star as  Isobel Crawley ) in the UK is almost over with its finale airing this Sunday (plus a special Christmas Episode with guest star George Clooney ), while in the US, we still have a long two months wait to go before it premieres in January 4th, 2015 on PBS Masterpiece. For now, there's a nice new Season 5 cast promo photo (see image above ^ via ITV) to tide us over while we wait and a great news today that the series has been renewed for Season 6 !
