Photos: First Look Images featuring the Bennet family in ‘The Other Bennet Sister’ series

Some first look photos of the upcoming BBC and BritBox ten part-series The Other Bennet Sister (starring Ella Bruccoleri), which is a fresh spin around the ballroom for one of Jane Austen’s most unassuming characters: Mary Bennet has been released! No premiere date has been announced yet, but it will be sometime in 2026.

The Other Bennet Sister is coming soon on BritBox TV in the U.S. and Canada & BBC iPlayer in the UK!

Today ( January 27th ) is the lovely and ethereally beautiful,  Golden Globe ,  BAFTA , Academy Award nominee  for  Best Actress  (for her outstanding performance as  Amy Dunne  in  Gone Girl ) and Emmy Award winner  Rosamund Pike  (aka  Pride & Prejudice 2005 's very own  Jane Bennet )'s  42nd Birthday ! Well, color me surprised (much like her P&P co-star Rupert Friend’s birthday confusion...) as I’ve been celebrating her birthday on this day for years, lol. I blame her IMDB and Wiki pages for not providing her real birthdate, if her actual birthday is, in fact not today! 'Pride & Prejudice Country' Pride & Prejudice (2005) film stars Keira Knightley , Matthew Macfadyen , Brenda Blethyn , Donald Sutherland , Tom Hollander , Rosamund Pike , Jena Malone , and Judi Dench . Travel to destinations featured in Pride & Prejudice Movies are often an inspiration for travelers, especially when the location is as beautiful as the English countryside. The fact that the East Midlands region of England was used extensively for location filming for Pride and Prejudice is especially fitting given that Jane Austen drew on the Derbyshire landscape for some of her most descriptive passages in the novel. Austen's descriptions of the county refer to there being "no finer county in England than Derbyshire", and feature "all the celebrated beauties of Matlock, Chatsworth, Dovedale, and the Peak".
