Photos: Rosamund Pike receives a Virtuosos award at the 30th Santa Barbara International Film Festival (updated with video!)

Last month, Rosamund Pike accepts her "Breakthrough Actress" award for Gone Girl at 26th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala. This month, Rosamund Pike received another special award, the Virtuosos Award (for her outstanding performance as Amy Dunne in Gone Girl) at the 30th Santa Barbara International Film Festival at the Arlington Theater yesterday, February 1, 2015 in Santa Barbara, California.

Speaking of RP and awards...

Rosamund Pike may not be winning (unfortunately) these recent big televised acting awards, but it's nice to see her still getting recognition and accolades in other, albeit smaller festival and film critics awards, giving her a much better and deserving awards. Go Miss Pike! With her amazing and unforgettable performance as Amy Dunne, she's already, at least for me, the Best Actress winner (because her performance has been seen worldwide and widely phrased by both film critics and general audience alike). Not too mention, her Gone Girl movie is a huge box-office success with over $367.9 million (to date) in global box office gross. So, compare to the other ladies in the GG/SAG/BAFTA/Oscar Best actress category, Rosamund is the big winner there in both acting and box office-wise. Still, I wish her the best in the upcoming BAFTA (February 8th) and Oscars (February 22nd).
