Here's more of the lovely and beautiful Rosamund Pike from Peek & Cloppenburg...

Behind the scenes: interview with Rosamund Pike

Peek & Cloppenburg: Can you imagine working with Ben Affleck on a movie?
Rosamund Pike: Yes, maybe even with him directing. I think he’s really good at getting the best out of everyone. And I know he’s very interested in making movies with social awareness. I like his approach.
Peek & Cloppenburg: Which of the outfits you wore for the shoot did you like best?
Rosamund Pike: The blue Joseph Janard suit. It’s classic, but a little unconventional at the same time. And I’d wear the white shorts and the check blouse on holiday. I just love that fifties French Riviera look.
Peek & Cloppenburg: How would you describe your style?
Rosamund Pike: I really like to mix modern outfits with vintage
accessories, like handbags, or textures like velvet. Velvet jackets are always good combined with classic dresses. I also love vintage jewellery.
Peek & Cloppenburg: Did you get a chance to go to any vintage shops here in LA?
Rosamund Pike: Yes, I went to ‘Decades’ and ‘Resurrection’. And then there’s a designer second-hand store on West Third Street, ‘Entrenous’. And a big market in Pasadena every Sunday. I just bought a gorgeous wedding dress from the forties there.
Peek & Cloppenburg: Do you have a particular style icon?
Rosamund Pike: I loved Faye Dunaway’s look in ‘Bonnie and Clyde’. That’s one of my favourites. But it’s not just the look, it’s the whole atmosphere of the movie.
Peek & Cloppenburg: Do you have a favourite outfit?
Rosamund Pike: Well, I knew that the Peek & Cloppenburg store in Mannheim was designed by Richard Meier. I’d just love to see it – I love architecture.
Peek & Cloppenburg: Are you an Internet user?
Rosamund Pike: I spend quite a lot of my time in the virtual world to see what the future has in store. And I also use the Web for online shopping.
Peek & Cloppenburg: You are on Facebook, too...
Rosamund Pike: No, I’m not, that’s someone else saying they’re me. I’m very private ...

Behind The Scenes: Rosamund Pike & Ben Affleck in 'Hollywood Stories' (Spring/Summer 2010 Fashion Campaign)

Rosamund Pike & Ben Affleck? No, they're not hooking up as a couple (he's happily married to actress Jennifer Garner and she's happily single) nor starring in a movie together (though it would be so cool, if they do...they already look good together), lol.

They are just looking picture perfect as new models for fashion designers Peek & Cloppenburg's new Spring/Summer 2010 Fashion Campaign.

They do look great together, aren't they?

Theatre interview: Rosamund Pike as Hedda Gabler at Theatre Royal Bath

Here's a new and very recent interview of Rosamund Pike (as Hedda Gabler photo by Theatre Royal Bath Productions) from Crackerjack.cu.uk...

Read highlights of her interesting interview below...

Theatre interview: Rosamund Pike as Hedda Gabler at Theatre Royal Bath

Natalie Hale talks to movie star Rosamund Pike about her new role on stage as Hedda Gabler

“I know that people struggle to pin me down, but I don’t mind that.”

Rosamund Pike is certainly something of an enigma. The elegant actress, who recently starred in the Oscar-nominated film An Education, is quietly spoken yet assertive and intense, and our interview is punctuated by hearty laughs and thoughtful silences.

In the past, she has been described as haughty and aloof, but perhaps that’s simply because she’s not the archetypal Hollywood star who relishes the attention that fame brings. “Maybe it’s because I like my own space,” muses Rosamund, when we discuss how she is perceived. “I am very used to being on my own and I don’t really like to be surrounded by people.”

So to be thrust into the spotlight when cast as a Bond girl at the tender age of 21 was something of a shock. Rosamund played Miranda Frost in Die Another Day, opposite Pierce Brosnan, Halle Berry and Judi Dench.
The character was cold, confident and completely unapproachable – perhaps another reason why she is portrayed this way off screen?

After the Bond film was released, Rosamund was catapulted into the public eye. She was constantly photographed and her personal life and relationships were gossip column fodder.
The actress admits that it was – and continues to be – tough.

“It was just before all the reality TV shows and the gossip magazines took off and so one wasn’t really aware of what could happen. I thought the way it worked was that I would give an interview and that interview would be published and read. I never thought about the paparazzi element. I never thought about being followed or about your private life being of great interest. It’s a lot to deal with at any age.

“But I do respond to all my fan letters, which takes an enormous amount of time. I feel that for all the people who want to make money out of you by selling stories and images, there are people who genuinely want to make contact with you because they like your work.”

It comes as little surprise, then, that instead of capitalising on her Bond fame and heading for the bright lights of Hollywood, she returned to the London stage where she bared all in Terry Johnson’s Hitchcock Blonde.
Since then, Rosamund has worked with some of the biggest names on both stage and screen. She appeared with Johnny Depp in The Libertine and starred as Jane Bennet alongside Keira Knightly in the film version of Pride and Prejudice.

She also shared the screen with Antony Hopkins in Fracture and Surrogates with Bruce Willis.
Most recently, she reunited with Die Another Day co-star Judi Dench in Madame De Sade during the Donmar’s sell-out West End season and appeared in the much-lauded film An Education, in which she demonstrates her comic talents as a Sixties swinger.

“Finally! Thank God!,” she exclaims on being cast in a comic role. “It was heaven really. You forget how indelible images are. You do a role like Miranda Frost and people think that you can’t smile.”

Rosamund is now in rehearsals for a new production of Ibsen’s masterpiece Hedda Gabler alongside a stellar cast including Tim McInnerny, best known for playing Lord Percy and Captain Darling in the Blackadder series and Robert Glenister, star of the BBC drama Hustle. The production opens in Bath – one of just five cities on a UK tour.

Rosamund stars as Hedda. Thrilling, enigmatic, destructive, she is undoubtedly one of theatre’s most irresistible heroines.

Hedda Gabler appears at the Theatre Royal Bath from Tuesday, February 23, to Saturday, March 6. Tickets cost £15.50-£31.50 – call 01225 448844.

Photo Flash: Cattrall And Macfadyen Star In PRIVATE LIVES

Noel Coward's dazzling comic masterpiece comes to the West End's Vaudeville Theatre for a ten week season from 24 February 2010, following a two week run at the Theatre Royal Bath (10 - 20 February). Starring Kim Cattrall and Matthew Macfadyen, and directed by Richard Eyre, Private Lives remains one of Coward's most sophisticated comedy of manners.

Glamorous, rich and reckless, Elyot and Amanda have been divorced from each other for five years. Now both are honeymooning with their new spouses in the South of France. When by chance they meet again across adjoining hotel balconies, their insatiable feelings for each other are immediately rekindled. Without a care for scandal, new partners or memories of what drove them apart in the first place, they hurl themselves headlong into love and lust.

Matthew Macfadyen is best known as Mr Darcy in the 2005 film of Pride and Prejudice and for his role as Tom Quinn in the BBC TV series Spooks. Other television roles include the recent five part BBC drama Criminal Justice II, the 2008 BBC adaptation of Dickens's Little Dorrit and Secret Life, for which he won the Best Actor award at the Royal Television Society 2007 Awards. In 2005 he played Prince Hal in the National Theatre production of Henry IV and in 2007 appeared in The Pain and the Itch at The Royal Court Theatre. He is soon to appear as the Sheriff of Nottingham in Russell Crowe's forthcoming film, Robin Hood.
