Another new movie for Keira Knightley ...looks like that rumor about her taking a break from acting? was just that a rumor because now there are 2 new movies (this and Keira Knightley tops 'Last Night' cast ) that she reportedly in talks and just signed on along with King Lear that she'll start filming early next year. According to BBC News , British actress Keira Knightley is in negotiations to play the wife of US novelist F Scott Fitzgerald in a new biopic, according to reports. The film, The Beautiful and the Damned , will look at the relationship between the Great Gatsby author and Zelda Sayre , the woman he married in 1920. The marriage was volatile, inspiring incidents in Fitzgerald's novels and Zelda's only book, Save Me the Waltz. The director will be Nick Cassavetes , the man behind 2004 hit The Notebook . According to the Hollywood Reporter, the movie - which takes its title from Fitzgerald's second novel, The Beautiful and Damned - is the brainchi

Keira Knightley 's The Duchess movie opens in U.S. theaters today ( Sept. 19th ) ! KK fans in the U.S., If you happen not to see it in a theater near you, it's because it's currently showing in limited theaters. Don't worry though, according to KeiraWeb.com , Paramount Vantage have confirmed that after this Friday's release of The Duchess in North America, it will expand to more screens on the 26th and again on October 3rd.

Variety.com reports yesterday that Keira Knightley , Eva Mendes, Sam Worthington, and Guillaume Canet are set to star in " Last Night ." Pic marks the feature directing debut of Massy Tadjedin, who wrote the script. Gaumont and Nick Wechsler Prods . are teaming on the project, which begins production in New York next month . Gaumont is financing the film, will handle worldwide sales and will distribute in France. Wechsler produces. Story follows a married couple, apart for a night while the husband takes a business trip with a colleague to whom he’s attracted. While he’s resisting temptation, his wife encounters her past love. "When I first met Massy, it was obvious to me that she had to be a director," Wechsler said. "Last Night" provided "a compelling way to establish her filmmaking voice."

According to Now Magazine (who sites the Daily Star ) , Keira Knightley has not signed up for any more movies because she wants to chill out at her London home. 'It's been a strange year as far as films go,' she says. 'With the writers' strike in Hollywood, a lot of financing has fallen through. 'So I'm going to sit in my flat, read books and cook. I don't have a TV and I don't like to shop.' But The Duchess actress, 23, doesn't want to turn her back on her profession for good. 'You stand on sets and think it's a ridiculous thing to do for a living,' she tells the Daily Star . 'Then you get caught up in it with people who absolutely love trying to create great stories.'
