Working Title Films and StudioCanal UK just released a teaser trailer and movie poster for Rosamund Pike's upcoming film, Radioactive. Rosamund will star as Marie Curie in the film, a Working Title (with Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner and Paul Webster producing) and StudioCanal joint production. Both production companies previously produced Rosamund's Pride & Prejudice 2005 film. This movie just premiered at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival this month. The film
tells of the scientific and romantic passions of Marie and Pierre Curie,
and the reverberation of their discoveries throughout the 20th century.
Marie (born Maria Salomea Skłodowska)
discovered the element Radium with Pierre in December of 1898, and went
on to make many other great contributions to science throughout her
life, including research on and invention of the term "radioactivity." Rosamund Pike stars as Marie, with Sam Riley (Mr. Darcy of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies) and Anya Taylor-Joy (Emma Woodhouse of the new Emma film). The film is slated for a 2020 theatrical release.

Today ( January 27th ) is the lovely and ethereally beautiful, Golden Globe , BAFTA , Academy Award nominee for Best Actress (for her outstanding performance as Amy Dunne in Gone Girl ) and Emmy Award winner Rosamund Pike (aka Pride & Prejudice 2005 's very own Jane Bennet )'s 42nd Birthday ! Or is it?!?! Miss Pike herself just posted on her official Instagram page that today is her internet birthday (and somewhat not her real birthday)! Well, color me surprised (much like her P&P co-star Rupert Friend’s birthday confusion...) as I’ve been celebrating her birthday on this day for years, lol. I blame her IMDB and Wiki pages for not providing her real birthdate, if her actual birthday is, in fact not today! Although there’s that one time it was listed on the 28th, but for years and even now it’s still listed as the 27th! Which is correct? Unless, Miss Pike can clarify and correct that..for now, I’ll continue to celebrate her internet birthday today! Still,
Our P&P (2005) movie's 10th Year Anniversary event here continues... One of the many things I love about Pride & Prejudice ( 2005 ) movie is the memorable and quotable quotes (and dialogue ). I know pretty much every line/quote uttered by various characters in this movie by heart. There isn't just one to remember because there are so many unforgettable quotes and one-liners from this movie. For my Top 10 Favorite Pride & Prejudice Movie Quotes here, it was very hard to pick and just narrow it down to 10, but that's the point of making a top 10 list. I know I left out a lot, but I managed to pick 10 that I can quote instantly and love the most. Obviously, the top 2 are a fan favorite, but mine too. I was looking through old threads over at IMDB a while back and I found a link to the P&P 2005 movie script ... from an awesome JA/P&P fanfiction related site called, Mrs. Darcy's Story Site . I've read the entire script from this site. It seemed accurate with deleted scenes included! (though there were spelling errors on some of the lines...just a lil' typo here and there)... Btw, the webmistress at Mrs. Darcy's site has added her comments to the script comparing this draft with what was actually released on film , which I thought was quite interesting (especially the deleted scenes from the movie ). It was a lot of fun to read. I thought I would keep the link and post it here (a lil' excerpt here) for those of you might be interested in reading this or have been looking for the P&P movie script/transcript online. Here are a few deleted scenes that I found interesting (wish they were shown in the movie or in the dvd special features):
