My last (but most certainly not least) post of 2013 ... A  P&P fan encounter  from an ardent   Pride & Prejudice / Matthew Macfadyen  fan, the lovely and wonderful  May   (from Scotland)   had a great pleasure in meeting  Matthew   Macfadyen  up close and in person   not once, but three times! She met him in his current stage play   Jeeves and Wooster , which had gotten rave reviews and is on demand (that it will be extended for more shows until September 2014 , but Matthew will only continue until April 2014 ). Death Comes to Pemberley  (2013)  starring  Matthew Rhys   &  Anna Maxwell Martin   Continuing on and adding into the  200th anniversary celebration  this year   of  Jane Austen 's classic   Pride and Prejudice   novel, with my thoughts, opinions, and review of   the homage and tribute to  P&P , which was based on PD James ' similar title novel adapted to a 3-part murder-mystery drama  Death Comes to Pemberley  starring  Matthew Rhys   (as  Mr. Darcy ),   Anna Maxwell Martin   (as   Elizabeth Darcy ...née  Bennet ). The final Episode 3  has just been uploaded to YT much earlier than I expected this early morning (I must admit I have been waiting to see it after seeing Episode 2 yesterday, lol...) of  Death Comes to Pemberley  starring  Matthew Rhys   (as  Mr. Darcy ),   Anna Maxwell Martin   (as   Elizabeth Darcy ...née  Bennet ), and  Matthew Goode  (as  Mr. Wickham ). I've just seen it and thought I'd share the last embedded video here. Another big thanks to  sideeffects  for uploading it really early and quickly this Sunday morning. 20th Century Fox just released the first official still (via The Playlist ) of  David Fincher 's upcoming film  Gone Girl   starring Ben Affleck &   Rosamund Pike . The first still doesn't really have Rosamund 's character Amy Dunne , in the flesh, but she's featured in a picture in the "missing" poster (as you can see above ^) behind Ben Affleck's Nick Dunne (also with another tiny pin photo of hers, pinned to his suit), whose wife Amy was missing. Gone Girl Nick  ( Ben Affleck ) and  Amy Dunne  ( Rosamund Pike ) have a difficult marriage. I was searching on YouTube for Episode 3 preview clip for  Death Comes to Pemberley  starring  Matthew Rhys   (as  Mr. Darcy ),   Anna Maxwell Martin   (as   Elizabeth Darcy ...née  Bennet ), and  Matthew Goode  (as  Mr. Wickham ), which I've found and you can  watch it here . What's unexpected was that someone was awesome enough to upload Episode 1  (with no commercials!) of DCTP , as I've been wanting to see it (since I don't live in the UK, I live in the US and don't see this mini-series until PBS Masterpiece will show it sometime on 2014), but looks like I don't have to wait too long to see it. I thought I'd embed Episode 1 here to share with those of you (like me) who don't live in  the UK, so we'll get to see it sooner rather than later, but make sure to see it as soon as you read this post, while it's still available and  viewable in YouTube (before it gets blocked! lol...). Episode 1 premiered on ...

The first Episode of  Death Comes to Pemberley  starring  Matthew Rhys   (as  Mr. Darcy ),   Anna Maxwell Martin   (as   Elizabeth Darcy ...née  Bennet ), and  Matthew Goode  (as  Mr. Wickham ) premiered on   BBC One earlier today, which was 8:15 PM (UK time and 3 PM US eastern time). If you live in the UK and you missed Episode 1 , you can watch and stream it on BBC's iplayer here .The 3-part murder-mystery drama airs in 3 consecutive nights from  December 26-28 ,  2013 (and also set for  a PBS Masterpiece premiere in  2014 . No broadcast dates has been announced yet...). Unfortunately, I  live in the US and can't view the BBC's iplayer, at least the episode. I can view the clips, but not the episodes. So, I'll have to wait (probably for a while in 2014) to see it on PBS Masterpiece. I wish BBC America would've shown this here in the US at the same time. There are only 3 episodes... Anyw...
